Kinita Beach Club is an absolute gem in Los Alcázares. It's the kind of place that instantly makes you feel relaxed and happy, all thanks to its stunning location and incredible atmosphere. The first thing you notice is the setting. Right on the shores of the Mar Menor, the view from the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking. You can enjoy your meal with your toes almost in the sand, watching the gentle waves and the beautiful scenery. It's perfect for a romantic dinner or a laid-back lunch with friends. The food is just as impressive as the view. The menu offers a fantastic selection of fresh Mediterranean dishes. I particularly loved their seafood options; everything tasted incredibly fresh and was cooked to perfection. The cocktails are also a must-try—creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to a sunny day by the sea. But what really stands out is the service. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. They create a wonderful, friendly environment that makes you want to come back again and again. Kinita Beach Club is more than just a restaurant; it’s a full experience. It’s a perfect spot to unwind, enjoy delicious food, and soak in the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to relax and enjoy the best of the Spanish coast.

This was our first visit to Kinita having seen a number of positive posts on Facebook, we were not disappointed. The venue itself is situated at the edge of military airfield in San Javier and positioned at the end of a secluded bay. Getting there involved a drive down a country road with a few twists and turns but it was worth the effort. We had prebooked a table, recommended if you're visiting at the weekends, and had a great view across the Mar Menor out to La Managa. There is a separate bar and covered restaurant area. The service was fantastic and although we can get by with our basic Spanish there was no need to worry as the staff and menus catered for both languages. Drinks were served quickly despite being a very busy Sunday lunchtime. The food was just fantastic and far surpassed any expectations, although on the pricier side compared to other restaurants in the area, it was definitely worth it.

In September 2024 we walked through the reed bed to have a drink. I checked the menu and wanted to come back on a special day.

As advised by KINITA in the reviews I made a reservation to secure best table possible for lunch. đŸ€ŁđŸ˜„đŸ˜ŸđŸ˜±đŸ˜‚ In the comments I mentioned the reservation is for my friend’s 75th birthday. After reading all the positive reviews, we entered the restaurant with high expectations. I should have read the negative reviews more carefully.

KINITA ruined this very special day.

Not only did they NOT find our CONFIRMED reservation, even though I showed them the email conformation but they sat us at the cat table.

We tried to enjoy this special day. Unfortunately sitting at the cat table with the service, service station, bar right behind us and clients going in and out of the restrooms made it IMPOSSIBLE to enjoy.

During the entire meal all the nicer tables stayed UNOCCUPIED. I sincerely do not know what/whom they were waiting for.

Sometime we really get the vibes, that foreign clients are not welcome. Just send money, but please stay in your own country.

KINITA is highly OVERRATED. Sorry to state we CAN NOT recommend.

Assuming (I shouldn’t have) we would seated at a nice spot. What else is the comment section and reservation good for! Very contrarily to my assumption we were seated in front of the bar which is right next to the service station which is on the way to the restrooms and kitchen

I’ve experienced that ONLY guests that do NOT have a reservation are seated at the cat-table.

This seating entree (cat-table) did NOT make our experience pleasant. As the restaurant started filling there was a constant parade of other guests and service passing our cat-table.

We ordered a bottle of water. We waited patiently
no water! The service had to be reminded. My friend asked for the water, again! The bottle finally arrived at our table
unfortunately without glasses. My friend then just took the glasses from the service station.

We ordered tuna tartar and chad stew croquette as starters. The tuna tartar was tasty. My friend had a croquette that looked totally lost on the plate. As a main we ordered national leg of lamb and bbq pork ribs. Unfortunately the menu did not mention the lamb would be covered in prunes, which I do not like. The meat on the bbq pork ribs was very tender, unfortunately covered with a thick layer of sweet bbq sauce.

All in all
we‘d give the entire experience a 2 out of 5.

A nice place to have a drink, but the food is over highly recommended. I will not comment the service. Find out for yourselves. The reviews (especially the negative ones) are very enlightening.

The restaurant is quick to apologize in the reviews but sadly DOESN’T IMPROVE at all.

The restaurant commented this on a review: It is always best to make a reservation to secure the best possible table đŸ€šđŸ€Ș😂 We did EXACTLY THAT and AGAIN IT didn‘t...

We have been coming to Kinita regularly for years, and liked it very much, but now issues have come up, possibly related to their move of the main seating area to the previous lounge area.

10 days ago, it took more than an hour for the first plate to arrive, and 3 calls for the service to get water and wine. Main courses then came wrong, the waiter had messed up the order. Not to wait another hour, we accepted what he had in his hands – funny enough, 5 plates for 4 guests. No excuse of any kind, or credit on the bill, but all fully charged to us. The food was excellent as always, so we brushed it off as just a bad day of their team

Yesterday we came again, and ran into the same problems, but this time with the food as well. Wine and water came as ordered, but the first plate took again more than an hour, and then the remaining 3 plates of the first course spread out over the next 30min. After 1,5h, we were informed that one of the main fish courses ordered was no longer available, and they recommended another fish plate, which we accepted. While the 2 meat dishes were good as always, the 2 fish dishes that finally arrived were of poor quality indeed. The bacalao was like rubber, and the side veggies were poured from the can and not even warmed up. The other fried fish dish was o.k., but the mushroom sides cold as well and with a very funny smell and taste.

Hopefully this previously high-quality place, in a perfect setting on the beach, will not go down to campground standards, as it sadly looked yesterday. We’ll certainly wait to hear other guest’s experiences, before we consider...
