El Mirador de Felipe — Restaurant in San Lorenzo de El Escorial

The restaurant and its terrace are found in a great emplacement surrounded by some really beautiful cherry trees, ash trees, and a few cypress trees as well. There’s even a small playground for kids. What’s more, there’s a basketball court at walking distance from the restaurant where you can let your kids play while you relax on the terrace.

Just for the record, the food is great. The tapas (snacks) are a treat for the visitors and locals alike.

I highly recommend that you drop by this place if you’re planning to visit the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial or any of the many landmarks nearby.

Even though you’ll be away from the fuss of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, you’ll make back it to its center and the Monastery in just a few minutes by car.

Le voy a poner esa estrella por la camarera que era majísima la jovencita, el propietario 👎muy mala atención, muy mal servicio. Me encanta que me hayas respondido,.así comento yo aquí también el porqué, de mi reseña, nosotros preguntamos si podíamos tomar una tarta del supermercado ya que tú no tenías a disposición del cliente o bien por las horas o bien porque no comimos allí, no sé, no se nos puso ningún problema, nos prestaste UN CUCHILLO y nos comimos la tarta en unas SERVILLETAS, peeeeero luego nos plantas al sol,.nos sirves tus bebidas, nos las cobras bien cobraditas y cuando después de una hora viéndonos achicharrarnos decidimos movernos a la sombra, para pedirnos otra ronda hay....!!! Ahí vino el problema: en toda la terraza siendo las.siete de la tarde solo había dos personas, cosa que ahora entiendo, nos invitas a volver al solecito o largarnos y tan ancho. En ningún momento nos dió ninguna opción: las sombrillas no se mueven son fijas y las mesas están todas reservadas. Escuche, la próxima nos ahorramos todo esto diciendo que no a lo de la tarta. Pero.. aviso: no se les ocurra llevar una bolsa de chuches para los críos o un sándwich de casa, (de otro "establecimiento", dice) si no quieren pasar la tarde al sol, y por supuesto ir de majos y una vez hemos cobrado las consumiciones tratar a la gente como el.... Y el responder a las reseñas que no te gustan casi con recochineo no te da la razón. Bueno si te parece le felicito "...

Honest amazing home made food!! We will be back!!
