Restaurante King sushi — Restaurant in San Roque

Today was our first visit to the newly renovated (gorgeous) and new menu. Some problems today but we hope they are just on a learning curve and it will improve. We plan to go again in a few months. One very important note about the menu (paper version) vs online from the QR code. The €12.95 choose 3 hot dishes and 1 sushi in the restaurant doesn't include a drink, desert or coffee but the online QR version says it does. More disappointing though was that on the €12.95 after ordering and waiting about 20 minutes they came and told us item 71 is not included (there is no mention on either menu of exclusions). No food had arrived yet. We were offered to upgrade to the €15.95 or choose something else. We chose to keep the €12.95. In the end only 7 of the 8 items we ordered arrived and we didn't see any staff even after mentioning this to one staff member until after another 10 minutes of waiting to resolve this, I lost patience with it, complained to the manager, Christina, paid and left.

Clearly, the staff do not know what the menu is, the menu needs to be corrected to reflect exclusions and needs to be the same on paper as the QR version.

Started off with hardly any food available on the buffet Then saw the owner in the kitchen eating and spitting all over the trays used for dinner service!? When she saw me looking at her she closed the door..... Then she came straight out of the kitchen still eating with a mouth full of food and mask off came over to our takeaway tubs and started picking them up and looking inside them!? I was at the time putting a few prawns in my tub to be cooked as there was none available that were cooked and the owner came straight over stood right next to me stareing at me and said you can only have 4 of them!? I said I'm sorry what did you say? She said what do you want!? Rudley you want prawns have those ones.... to top everything off we arrived back at our house to wat what we we're qchully allowed to take, it was the worst tasting dried Chinese we have ever eaten, the spring rolls tasted off and the rest of the food was bad, the only thing we ended up eating from the whole meal was some vegetables that the chef cooked up, that's all we ate, stay clear if you care about your health and worst...

The food is great, what let's it down is how unorganized all the staff members are, they don't count how many will eat at the table, one staff member came to order drinks, got the order wrong, counted wrong, then another charged me the bill while at that point the manager approached our table with another bill, i took both reciepts to the cashier, he clarified all was ok so we left to our cars, only to be chased by the manager shouting at us, even scaring my disabled son and daughter, claiming i was a thief!!!! Causing me to get very sick due to my heart condition.

Horrific staff management, who i was warned about by many friends who have eaten there, never did i think it would happen to me in this way, after paying a large amount of money to be called a thief infront of all my family just because they miscounted how many of us were actually there.

It's a re shame but Never again, there are other better Chinese restaurants with friendlier staff and not rude ones like this place has.
