We visited this place 2 weeks ago with my partner for small lunch. We had baba ganoush, mussels and cocktails. Everything was okay, service very nice and helpful. There was short haired lady and probably manager, who communicated with us. Based on this experience, I decided to spend the day with my girlfriend on sunbads. Price is really good 30€ for 2 people, you got 2 sunbads and sun umbrella and place is just beautiful. What a terrible experience… Girl who worked on sunbad area told us, that we can choose places. After 20 minutes she asked if we can move, because she has group of 6 people and she want them to be placed together on the front row. We changed places and she told us she will come to make an order. We were waiting more than 20 minutes for her, so I decided to go inside and ask her if we can make an order. She came and we asked for 1 bottle of wine, ice and bottle of sparkling water. We were waiting another 15 minutes for her to bring it. There were no people that time. I understand she needs to wait for barman to make an order for her but 15 minutes? Anyway she came with bottle of wine, glass of sparkling water and 2 glasses for wine. Didn’t pour the wine, forgot an ice and one glass we had to send back, because ther was lipstick stain on it. We asked why she brought glass of water (cost 4€ per 3dl) and she told us that it is forbidden to bring glass on the beach. Understand, but why is okay to bring bottle of wine there and bottle of sparkling water not? We paid for 1l of water, not a glass. Anyway, after we returned dirty glass and we already paid, we were waiting 10-15 minutes more for clean glass for wine and change. When waitress brought the glass finally, my friend told her quite angry after all this that she didn’t received any change. We could see that girl started to be angry and loosing patience with us after we returned dirty glass. Anyway, when she came back with change, she literally threw it on table and left. We were shocked…. After this, she didn’t come back once to ask if we need something more, anyway, we were going to bar for more ice anyway, because it was quicker and more friendly over there… And surprise? Places she ask us to leave were offered to another 2 people, not 6… I never left bad review, but this should be nice relaxing experience for me and my friend and moody waitress just ruined it. I understand, it’s summer, there is lot of people, some are rude, but it wasn’t our case on beginning. If someone doesn’t like to serve people, then change your career. Understand aswell, that not everyday you can be in mood, but I never experience nothing like this. We live in this area and were planning to go back. But after this experience, we have to think...
Read moreLovely location. But a few issues. €30 for two hamacas is highest price in the area (even compared to Sotogrande). Open from 12pm for this, but bar service very limited until 4pm, even on weekends. If you drive there and want to enjoy a cocktail or two in the sun, then pass enough time to be safe to drive home you cannot. Every other chiringuito serves cocktails during the afternoon, not sure why this place doesn't (and more importantly, doesn't make this clear at any point during bookings).
The menu is small, and quite expensive for what you get. The food is tasty, but definitely overpriced.
A good place to lie in the sun, but definitely not good value compared with other...
