Finally! A place in Ibiza where you don’t have to sell a kidney to afford lunch AND the food doesn’t taste like it was assembled by someone who learned cooking from a WikiHow article.
Can Tixedó is hands down the best value-for-quality gem I stumbled upon during my island adventure. While most places seem to charge champagne prices for airplane food, these legends are out here serving up actual deliciousness without requiring you to take out a second mortgage.
The staff? Pure spunk in human form. They’ve got that perfect balance of “we know we’re awesome” confidence mixed with genuine warmth that makes you feel like you’re dining at your coolest friend’s place. They clearly love what they do, and honestly, their energy is more infectious than whatever song was number one in Ibiza last summer.
The food hit that sweet spot where your taste buds do a little happy dance AND your wallet doesn’t file for bankruptcy protection. Their Caesar salad? Absolutely fantastic – crisp lettuce that actually had personality, dressing that didn’t taste like it came from a squeeze bottle, and croutons that could make a grown person weep with joy. In a place where a basic sandwich can cost more than a flight home, finding quality eats at reasonable prices felt like discovering buried treasure – except the treasure was delicious and didn’t require a treasure map.
If you’re tired of choosing between eating well and affording the flight home, Can Tixedó is your salvation....
Read moreWe found this little gem by total accident, driving from San Gertrudis to San Antoni. 'The place in the middle of nowhere' we laughed. But what a place it is. Seaweed cannelloni with rice and veg, aubergine lasagne, spinach lasagne, spanish omelette, 2 different salads with octopus, peppers stuffed with goat's cheeses and beef stroganoff. Everything tasty, everything yummy. Very reasonable prices as well. Will be going there back for...
