Nara Restaurant Libanés — Restaurant in Sant Cugat del Vallès

Lost in the beauty and authenticity of Barcelona i happened to be wondering with my wife as we stumbled upon this lebanese restaurant called Nara. I am a big fan of Mediterranean cuisine but have had a few disappointing experiences over the years when it comes to middle eastern restaurants, who try to imitate how it tasted back home but never actually succeed. This time it was different though!! These guys really made my day and got me home happy and with a tear in my eye as i haven't been to my homeland Lebanon in 15 years and really missed the authentic taste and generosity of ingredients that one sees rarely nowadays.

Inicialmente, tenía muy buena pinta. La comida estaba buena y parecía un sitio genial. Empezamos a tener un problema bichos que no paraban de meterse en nuestros platos. Al principio nos reímos y seguimos comiendo, pero llegó un punto donde era insostenible poder comer. Había moscas atrapadas en la salsa, el vino, el agua, etc.

La comida era buena y teníamos ganas de probar más cosas, pero no pudimos acabar la cena. Puedo entender que haya algún que otro bicho o mosca, pero estando sentados dentro del restaurante debería hacerse algo para que no se den estas situaciones. Además, pensé en llevarme algunos postres a casa, pero también había moscas.

Me sabe mal darle una puntuación tan baja, pero la verdad es que lo único que hicieron era cambiar uno de los vinos donde había caído una mosca. No hubo más consideración que esa, teniendo en cuenta que tuvimos que estar todo el rato ahuyentando moscas de nuestros platos.

Espero que puedan arreglar...

We stayed in Barcelona for two nights with my husband. Went to Nara for lunch and it was a great experience. The food was delicious (ordered Arayes and fattoush) and the atmosphere was very homey.
