Venezia — Restaurant in Sant Feliu de Guíxols

All the regular tables were apparently reserved. No problem. I'm pleased they have the custom and wasn't expecting to get any special treatment. We got sat at a stool and patiently waited for a menu and to order. And we waited and waited and waited.

Meanwhile, others came, seemingly without a reservation and got found places and were served quickly. After 10--15 minutes of the waitresses doing everything to ignore us (perhaps it was because we were foreigners--I have no idea) but instead attend to those already with food and drinks, we gave up and left. The place doesn't sit that many people and it wasn't that busy.

We went round the corner to Pizzeria Argentina. It was a little smaller but all their outside tables were occupied. Nevertheless, the staff found us a place to sit and took our order...

De esas veces que te duele pagar por lo que has comido. Simplemente la comida no tenía sabor. De aspecto todo tenía buena pinta pero en boca, nada. Nunca había probado una pizza que no sabiera a nada, no me explico como eso sea posible, llevando tantos ingredientes. La carne de las hamburguesas tampoco tenía sabor. Mi hija hizo una reserva para las 21:00h y al rato después de tomarle nota le dijeron que tardarian unos 20/30 minutos en servirla ya que habia dos mesas "grandes". A las 21:45 aún no le habian traido la comida (que era una ensalada) y las mesas grandes ya se habian vaciado y fueron ocupadas por otros nuevos clientes, los cuales, les sirvieron la comida muy rapidamente.
