Our recent visit to Can Xifra in Girona was an exceptional dining experience that exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning location. The owner greeted us warmly and arranged a lovely table on the spacious terrace, providing a perfect setting for a relaxed meal. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, striking an ideal balance.
The staff at Can Xifra were attentive and professional, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was carefully considered. The timing of the courses was impeccable, allowing us to savor each dish at a leisurely pace without feeling rushed.
We followed the recommendations, many of which are traditional family recipes passed down through generations. As starters, the goat cheese with tomatoes and the vermicelli were both standout dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors that spoke to the restaurant’s deep culinary heritage. For dessert, the homemade custard was a delightful finale.
A special highlight of our visit was when the owner invited us to meet the family. This personal touch made our experience even more memorable, offering us a glimpse into the warmth and tradition that define Can Xifra. Additionally, the homemade lemonade, which was refreshingly perfect on a warm day, was another standout. We were even shown how it’s made in the kitchen—a wonderful, hands-on experience that added to the charm of the meal.
The setting at Can Xifra beautifully blends classic charm with modern upkeep, creating a space that feels both welcoming and refined. The €70 we spent on starters, mains, dessert, and a tip was well worth it for the quality and experience we received.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for both couples and families, with a lovely playground available for children. We will undoubtedly return when we’re in the area. Can Xifra is highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience...
Read moreTuesday night, experiencing some of the most honest dishes that one could wish. We requested Catalan typical dishes, and were treated to authentic hospitality; the snails (salted), rabbit stew, and ox tail are stand outs among outstanding countryside chicken and fruited duck stew. Catalan custard was naughty. Capped off with meeting the chef and back of house, this family run kitchen is outstanding in...
💵Precio: 25€/pax. aproximadamente.
