Set against the backdrop of Ibiza's countryside, the A Mi Manera appears an idyllic escape into a garden of culinary delights. The setting is indeed enchanting, but unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the cuisine and its pricing.

One might think that with the fantastic locale, the food served would be equally compelling. But, the reality was a stark contrast to the expectations set by the picturesque setting. The grandeur of the place did not reflect in the quality of the food, creating a gastronomic dissonance that was hard to ignore.

At this establishment, dining out becomes a costly expedition into the realm of mediocre Italian cuisine. I decided on the pasta, a staple dish of any Italian restaurant, which, bizarrely, was only available as a meal for two. Not only was this limiting for single diners, but the pasta was also spectacularly uninspiring. I felt like I was paying premium prices for something I could have whipped up at home on a lazy evening.

The biggest letdown was their speciality: the meat. Based on the waiter's recommendation, we expected an extraordinary culinary adventure. Instead, we were served a well-done steak, an act of culinary blasphemy in itself. In an environment where the art of cooking is revered, serving a well-done steak at +60 EUR seems like an amateurish mistake that is hard to pardon.

Priced at around 100 EUR per person, the dinner felt more like a financial transaction than a memorable dining experience. For what we received, this price point is downright audacious. This restaurant is more about the spectacle than substance, a façade of luxury dining that doesn't deliver on its promises.

This place is a stark reminder that not all that glitters is gold. My advice would be to approach this place...

As long-term residence of Ibiza we see a lot of restaurants come and go. We tried this restaurant once and we really wished this restaurant had gone a long time ago. The contempt they showed to you as a customer is disgusting. I wouldn’t give the food that was served to us to my dog because I have more respect for my dogs than this restaurant do to their customers. The food is truly truly vile. It’s apparent that jamón (the starter) was taken from a pack from a supermarket. Any true Italian would be ashamed of how this restaurant, it not only represents itself and delivers the worst food experience known to a country that only cooks the food with passion and love through generations and families who understand the value of taste, service and experience. If you find yourself sitting at this restaurant , clearly by accident because you haven’t read any of the reviews, leave immediately before you order as it’s not too late or you only have yourself to blame. If I could employ a person to stand at the airport advising people, of the experiences of this restaurant delivers and doing everything possible to save them from such horrendous food, at unbelievably overpriced tripe, then I hope it would go a small way to defend generations of Italian food perfections. This restaurant cooks with hate, the owners see nothing but your money and take it from your pocket, past the bad boutique, while you go through an Italian Disneyland, to your table. Please please please don’t do it, its not going to enrich your life and its going to make you feel empty, used and your wallet will feel the same but it will feel much more abused, at least you might recover though, your...

With VERY HIGH expectations we went to a mi manera. Very promising reviews.

The welcoming was exquisit with a tour of the property, very promising again. We got a lovely romantic table at the side with great people watching potential. The setting is nice but not special. Very recognizable Ibiza outdoor style.

So we sat there Enjoying And waiting (5 tables occupied) And waiting And waiting And then we finally could place our order So we ordered our aperitifs and the rest of our wanting. We did receive our aperitifs, but not even 1 minute after that our first course. At that point we told our waitress to take her time with the courses since we were there to enjoy our evening and our meal. She did not like that.

After that we had our delicious starters (beetroot carpaccio and thinly sliced wagyu) Followed by a main of angus beef which was excellent. It is served with a bbqed half sweet potato. The side dish question should have included this information. A a side we ordered the roasted potatoes which were overkill since the sweet potato was already there and the tomatoes. I think we got the only existing tasteless tomatoes on the Island.

After that we wanted some dessert but after 20 minutes of waiting again and watching the complete chaos of the a mi manera team we decided to ask for the bill (3 times!)

Conclusion: overrated, overpriced and if Asia is your waitress then you might want to leave. If A Mi Manera keeps doing things at ‘this manera’, there will not be a lot of recurrent...

Mi experiencia en A mi Manera ibiza fue excepcional. Desde el momento en que entré, fui recibida con una cálida bienvenida por parte del personal, en especial del Director Humberto que se presentó y nos ofreció un cocktail de bienvenida. El ambiente era acogedor,elegante y romantico con una decoración encantadora que creaba una atmósfera relajante por su contacto con la naturaleza perfecto para disfrutar en pareja. La carta ofrecía una amplia variedad de platos exquisitos enfocados en la cocina italiana pero con variantes como gastronomia Japonesa y platos a la brasa. entrantes de una calidad expectacular e inovadores hasta postres exquisitos. De entrante probé : Sushi de Rony sushiluxury , el Wagiu Tataky y el sashimi de Salmon , un sushi expectacular que se desacia en la boca . Flores de calabacín rellenas de ricotta y anchoas, que estaban perfectamente llenas de sabor Carpaccio de pulpo, tomates cherry confitados y hummus de garbanzos negro honestamente un plato con un frescor e intenso sabor donde los garbanzos negros le daban un sabor expectacular. Carpaccio de remolacha con escamas de parmesano, alcaparras fritas, nueces tostadas y vinaigrette de mostaza un plato que poca gente se atreveria a probar, pero una ves que lo pruebas quedas fasinado por lo crujiente y sabor tan especial que le añade las nueces tostadas; de verdad que fue uno de mis favoritos. no podia faltar probar la pasta con lo cual elegimos los Spaghetti “A mi Manera”: tomates cherry, albaha, y burrata de Apulia , solo tengo que decir que el conocimiento del punto aldente de la pasta era expectacular , super adecuada con la mezcla de burrata que le daba el toque tierno y fresco mezclados con unos tiernos tomates cherrys. Para el plato principal, opté por el vacio de black angus (uruguay) , que estaba fresco y jugoso acompañado de una guarnicion llamada Huerto en el plato, unas verduras que son producto del huerto ubicado a pocos metros del restaurante estabán expectaculares con una salsa de esparragos si no me equivoco . Y para terminar, disfruté de un delicioso pastel de chocolate que era simplemente divino acompañado de un helado casero. El servicio fue impecable, el personal era atento en especial Leandro que fue el encargado de sugerirnos los platos y explicarlos detalladamente los platos. además el somelier fue fantastico amable en todo momento, asegurándose de que mi experiencia fuera inolvidable con la importancia del vino que acompañara adecuadamente la comidad. Además, los demás camareros estaban atentos en todo momento en recoger los paltos seguir los tiempos de cada plato y sobre todo se notaba el gran conocimiento que tenian de los platos que servian , creo que eso es bastante importante en un servicio. Los precios eran razonables considerando la gran calidad de la comida, el ambiente tan especial y el servicio expectacular que brindan, se percibe un buen ambiente por parte del equipo que ha formado Humberto. Nos encantó el tour que nos ofreció por el restaurante explicandonos el huerto que tienen , las mesas ubicadas en zonas especiales y personalizadas para las experiencias de cada cliente. Como comentario constructivo me gustaria comentar que la empresa externa que tienen en el restaurante, pienso que el servicio que ofrecen no es adecuado, dado que es bastante incomodo para ciertas personas y me imagino que para la gran mayoria, que te ofrezcan ese tipo de servicio mientras estás cenando con tu pareja o amigos , siendo este restaurante de tan gran calidad y tan especial. En resumen, este restaurante superó mis expectativas en todos los aspectos. Definitivamente lo recomendaría a cualquiera que busque una experiencia culinaria excepcional en un ambiente encantador. ¡Sin duda volveré pronto!"

I rate this place a 6/10. There are some issues that needs to be resolved, such as the service: the waiters are nice but have this “know-it-all” attitude is unacceptable in my personal opinion. With that being said the prices could be fine IF the food was worthy of them, but literally for five ravioli with like tomato ( don’t really remember the deets right now ) we paid 35 euros or something. But that’s not the problem, there problem is that you can’t order different pasta dishes at the table, like excuse me?! I demand to order whatever I like because I will pay for it. As a person that has experienced lots of “fancy” situations this is one of the worst, but in the complex it just sufficient, because the garden was nice even tho we sat in the back of the restaurant with a high ventilator near ( but they were kind enough to turn it off for us since I sat near “him”), the bathroom was clean and photo-approved, but really it’s not worth it if you’re used to something else that doesn’t include posting on instagram to prove that you went there, don’t rely on it. I really hope that they will eventually make the place better. It has a lot of potential.

Summary: bad price for value; you pay for the nice garden ambiente; stay with the cocktails and ham and maybe enjoy a ragu Dishes (- negative / = ok / + positive): + Appetizer: nice iberico ham plate + Great alcoholic and nonalcoholic cocktails - Warm Wagyu Esplanade with wild Rosemary (carpaccio): questionable whether they really served Wagyu, typical fatty structure was missing and flavor was plain; it was soaked in bitter olive oil; no rosemary flavor - Tempura of Local King Prawns, Beetroot Mayonnaise: shrimps nice and crispy and juicy; sauce tasteless = Mixed Seasonal Vegetable Garden Salad “A Mi Manera”: good = Zucchini Tartare, Caprino Foam, Dried Tomatoes, Basil and Pine Nuts: good but mostly cream „foam“ + main course: good wagyu ragu with noodles; again questionable whether it was indeed wagyu; it also seems like an awful waste to make ragu out of wagyu - Grilled Mix (Oak and Olive tree Flavoured): meat overcooked and dry Service: + very friendly Price: - totally overpriced for the quality; starters €30ish; main courses €40-50ish Atmosphere: + beautiful garden seating with great Ambiente; easy-going
