Restaurant - Pizzeria Llenye — Restaurant in Sant Jordi / San Jorge

Arrived just outside sant Jordi on holiday for 2 weeks, hire car doesn't arrive until tomorrow, didn't want to cook after a 3 day drive so found this restaurant, rung a local taxi firm to take us there, but the taxi didn't want to know, very off, so we rung the restaurant to ask if they knew a taxi firm, as we were English we chatted via WhatsApp so was easier to translate, they rung us a taxi to get us there, Food was amazing, drinks were plentiful and service was excellent, they really tried hard to speak English to us, and the bill was only €25 each. And to top it off they offered to drive us back to the camp site in their own car and argued with us as we tried to give them some money for dropping us off, So friendly and would recommend this restaurant to anyone, we will definitely be going back while we are staying in the area. Creo que hoy he sido testigo de cómo se pierden clientes sin tener que entrar a un local. Somos nuevos en la zona y teníamos previsto ir un día a probar sus pizzas, pero hoy hemos dejado el coche en el aparcamiento del restaurante sin saber que era de ellos, supongo que como todos los que había aparcados, porque se celebraba la mostra artesanal en el pueblo y viene mucha gente. Cuando hemos vuelto nos hemos encontrado un coche que nos bloqueaba la salida y he ido a la pizzeria para preguntar si era de alguien. El dueño me ha contestado de mala manera que ese parking es para los clientes y que lo quitaría cuando tuviera tiempo, que en ese momento no podía. He de decir que eran las 19:30 de la tarde, que el restaurante estaba vacío y que el parking estaba repleto de coches, no se si es que los clientes habían llegado demasiado pronto y se fueron a pasear. Debo decir que en la entrada pone "Parking Llenye" en una pared, pero alguien que no es del pueblo, como va saber si es un restaurante o es el nombre que le han puesto al aparcamiento? Si no quieren que aparque nadie deberían poner una cadena o algo que lo impida. Un chico ha salido a quitar el coche, con actitud chulesca y casi perdonandonos la vida. Solo le ha faltado llamarnos tontos en la cara. Posiblemente ellos tengan razón, pero las formas se la han quitado por completo. Lo que está claro es que con esa actitud y ese mal trato, acaban de perder dos clientes sin haber probado la comida. Si alguien va a Sant Jordi tengan cuidado al aparcar en la pizzería Llenye, son bastante...

Our first visit here but we’ll definitely be back. Lovely indoor dining space as well as a patio outside for sunny days. Delighted to find a Vegetarian section in the menu!! Really good food, friendly service and very reasonable prices. Agua de Valencia is well worth a try...
