The culinary world is full of delightful surprises, one of which is the hidden gem known as "Hey Mamma" Pizzeria. Nestled away in an unassuming location, this pizzeria is home to some of the finest pizzas and culinary delights one can expect to find.
The pizzas, baked to perfection in a traditional wood-fired oven, are simply excellent. One standout option is the aptly named “Hey Mamma” pizza, a testament to the pizzeria’s unique flair. This pizza, crafted with a base of rich truffle sauce and adorned with creamy burrata, earthy mushrooms, butifarra (traditional Catalan sausage), fresh rocket, and a truffle balsamic drizzle, is a medley of flavours that captivate and enchant the palate.
However, pizzas aren't the only items on the menu that demand attention. The solomillo con pure de patatas casera (fillet steak with ‘home made’ mashed potato), enjoyed by my wife and kids, was truly exceptional. The steak, expertly seared and cooked to perfection, was a savory delight. As for the mashed potato, a high ratio of butter to potato gives it a velvety and luxurious texture that's hard to forget.
An integral part of this dining experience was the welcoming and friendly team. Their pride in what they serve is palpable and adds to the overall ambiance. While the focus of Hey Mamma Pizzeria might be on pizzas and pastas, it's evident that each menu item is crafted with care and is a star in its own right.
I left Hey Mamma Pizzeria absolutely blown away by the quality of food and service. If you are in search of a great dining experience, this place should definitely be on your list. Rest assured, I will absolutely be...
Read moreLove pizzas, one of the best in Sitges. But pasta..... had a pasta a la vongole and it was rubbery. I believe that the pasta was pre cooked and microwaved, may be not even once, very very disappointing. I appreciate that it was friday lunch menu, but with almost no ppl at the restaurant for lunch, with this quality of pasta I will definitely not coming back for a pasta there, I guess I will stick to pizza take away only. Service is soooooo slow, takes ages to get food. Had to wait for my coffee for long time...
