El Jardinet de Sant Pere — Restaurant in Sant Pere Pescador

Last evening we entered your restaurant at 7 pm. There was only one table occupied inside but we waited to be seated.

We were offered a nice table and accepted, we had already decided what to order and were waiting for the order to be taken.

While waiting I noticed a small slip of paper with a name and time of 7 30 pm, when the waiter came I showed her this paper.

The correct response should have been, I am sorry this table is reserved may I move you to another table.

What we got was an inquisition and accusations that we had sat at a reserved table by ourselves. I was so upset by this treatment that we felt we had no choice but to leave.

We noticed other tables with typical reserved signs when we came in, obvious and normal. Little slips of paper which even your staff do not understand is unprofessional. We would have loved to have eaten at your restaurant but not to be treated like minor felons.

Diuen pel món que la perfecció no existeix.... Caldria comprovar-ho al Jardinet de Sant Pere no sigui que tal popular (i un xic absurda) afirmació és quedés en un no res, en un zero o en una frase més que suprimible del costumari popular català i universal ..... Ja ‼️

També es un bon lloc on definitivament entendreu el concepte tiberi a un preu molt més que raonable ....

Tan sols l'espai interior i exterior ple de delicadesa, art i detalls et revelen el que gastronòmicament t'oferiran: Art i delicat detall

📍L'steak tàrtar de vedella és generós, estupend i molt ben presentat i executat, ja està presentat perquè escolliu vosaltres el picant, de 🔟... Moooolt recomanable...

📍El rap (animal que m'atrau molt)  amb safrà i cloïsses és extremadament extraordinari i em mata de plaer, no el deixeu escapar ‼️ Mai he sucat tan de pa per gaudir d'una salsa d'acompanyament tant excelsa.... Visca el safrà ‼️ Renoi.... Visca, visca i visca... 🫠🤤

📍Ara els postres..... Si, si si... Tots són bons, però jo tant sols m'he emocionat amb la crema catalana casolana.... Textura, novetat, atreviment amb cítrics, torrat exacte i perfecte, saborosa com poques, resultat crepuscular i més.....He dit tan sols emocionar.... Si❓

El servei i l'atenció estan allà.... Al principi ... On he dit perfecció... Son molt grans.... Molt

This is as far removed from Spanish food as is possible without leaving the Iberian peninsula. The price level is insane if you compare it to other, better restaurants even along the Costa Brava. But tourists pay well and apparently don’t care about authentic food. If you really have to eat here, the pizzas are your safest bet. But avoiding this...
