El Celler d'en Quim — Restaurant in Santa Cristina d'Aro

Fantastic! We were searching for a restaurant for lunch, something local, with sea food. This place was open and we just came there. Very very pleasant atmosphere, simple interior, good prices, nice terrace and delicious food! There were locals eating there. Cuttlefish was the best ever. Don’t know if it’s possible to cook it better. Octopus, pork ribs - all the dishes were delicious. Too bad, that we couldn’t try everything - they have a great choice and we have only two stomachs 😃. After reading reviews about this place I imagined it was a restaurant however for me it was more of a bar with food. The menu was quite extensive but the dishes were more like tapas than meals. For example if you order calamares andaluces you get a plate of calamares but no salad or anything to accompany them. We ordered a goat cheese salad which was disappointing with two small pieces of cheese not grilled and a handful of lettuce and some tomatoes. Me veo en la obligación de escribir una mala reseña. Volvimos a ir un año después por la comida casera. Pero esta vez fuimos a las 14:30h y nos dijeron que cerraban a las 15h (de malas maneras)Lo entendimos y nos fuimos. Al día siguiente volvimos a pesar de la contestación del día anterior y porque tampoco hay mucha oferta gastronómica en el pueblo. Eran las 14:05h. Nadie nos atendía. Al final hablamos con el cocinero (o eso creemos) que nos volvió a decir lo del horario. Le dijimos que quedaba 1h para el cierre y que comíamos rápido. Cuando vino a atendernos la camarera (la de la mala contestación del día anterior) nos dijo q nos hacia el favor y que los pedidos de comida eran de 13-13:30h. Tal y como nos sentamos en la mesa, nos volvimos a levantar y a irnos.
