We'd opted to go to the La Ola, but as it was shut Saturday had to make another plan.

I'm glad we did, booked a table as the locale was getting busy (smart) and took a leisurely coast walk from La Roque De Bodegas up the road and across Bonijo beach ⛱️ which was magical ✨️

My mate lives in Tenerife, so we opted for typical Canarian food.

Sea salted potatoes 🥔 came with delicious pesto dips. The bread was fresh and delicious.

He went for the Octopus which cut like butter and was laden in Olive oil. I took the fried sardines which were delicious. We ordered baby peppers 🌶 which came laden in salt and were delicious.

At one stage there was a concern we'd over ordered. Yeah it was greedy but man, one of the best meals had in recent memory.

The view is great with the balcony looking out across the sea past El Draguillo. It's a small intimate two person setup.

They are smashing it, and we made sure to thank from our hearts as we left, with eager eyes waiting to take our table.

Food with pride and love. Great location. Reasonable prices. Booking...

Horrible service ever. Seriously, count on at least 2 hours if you come here for a lunch. We came at 14, waiter bring the menu 30 min later, bring the food 90 min later, food itself was fine, and after we finished main dish we ordered dessert which they bring reasonably quick. I do understand it might be busy time, etc. But they do not bring bread (which is advertised in the menu as included into the service), or better to say - our neighbors got it, we didn't , other neighbors didn't get it as well. Also it was a bit of hair in the dish, but we'll, it was the leader disturbing thing. And yes - the view and location is amazing. So come to benijo beach, enjoy it, pass by this restaurant, do not stop!!! and keep walking and exploring beautiful...

When looking up restaurants to dine at after our hike in the nearby Anaga area, this particular destination stuck in my mind. We finished our descent and came upon… a different restaraunt. Horrible; angry waiter (working for two people I think!) and bad atmosphere… I digress. We left and realised we were in the wrong place. Further down the road, is an abandoned looking building which houses the finest cuisine in the area. Bread and sauce for starters, I was suggested mussels for my main dish which was fantastic. My partner had roasted vegetables which I was very envious of! Easily the best view, a wonderful establishment with...

This is the first restaurant as you come round the corner going into the town. A bit worn but kinda fits with the setting. Balcony with a lovely view & free parking. My wife had the Goats cheese salad & I had the prawn salad with avocado. Both were really nicely presented, nice dressing & better than we expected. Fresh baked bread with mojo. The price is higher than some other parts of the island but also remember where it’s situated, almost at the end of the north side of the island!! The server could be a little more friendly but the food & view made up for this! Congrats to the lovely lady in the kitchen 👏🏼

El Mirador is a place where you are not expecting much ... And than after you pass ruins of half of the building what is next to way to a great beach you can walk in to place with great view, FRESH AND REALLY TASTY traditional food with great staff. You can see that restaurant is old but kitchen, toilets are clean same as staff:) what is not obvious in many places:) There is few more restaurants nearby but ladies who run El Mirador make good atmosphere of home cooking environment:) it's a place for couples, friends, families, backpackers, surfers and locals who are looking for good food cheap and tasty.
