Nestled on the road between Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia, Can Garage is a unique and inviting restaurant located within the grounds of an actual garage. As you pull up, you'll notice limited parking within the garage perimeter, but don't fret - there's typically plenty of free parking on the roadside edge. Just be cautious of traffic speed and mopeds whizzing by if you need to park and walk, particularly at night when the road isn't well-lit.
Upon entering, you'll find that the restaurant isn't particularly spacious, but they utilize the space well. During the winter months, you'll be cozy in the enclosed area, but in the summer, the restaurant opens up to a lovely wooden platformed terrace. Regardless of the season, the atmosphere is always relaxed and inviting.
The menu at Can Garage isn't expansive, but it certainly makes up for it in quality. Their focus is on excellent smoked meats, such as beef brisket and pulled pork, with a range of simple yet delicious sides to complement them. You'll find classic favorites like nachos, tacos, burgers, and spare ribs on the menu, along with sides like chips (which are excellent!), coleslaw (a bit too heavy on the dill for my taste, but still good), and mac & cheese.
In terms of drinks, Can Garage has an impressive range of options that cater to their smokehouse theme, including excellent beers, tequila, and good wines. I particularly enjoyed their Michelada, and I highly recommend ordering one and having your camera at the ready to capture the moment.
The staff at Can Garage are warm, friendly, and always willing to help, even when the restaurant is full and they have multiple duties to attend to. During my visit in March 2023, there were only two staff members working front of house, but they managed to maintain high levels of service despite the challenge.
As for the clientele, it's a mixed bunch of Spanish locals, large Dutch groups, families, couples, and friends. It's clear that the restaurant appeals to a broad range of people, and it's not hard to see why.

I can only tell you about our experience at Can Garage. We are British although 52 week residents of The Island. Strangely we have never visited this place and sadly missed previously their hot wing challenges that we hear are good fun. When we arrived last Friday, we had not booked and told them this, it was early and when we said we also wished to eat we were offered a table. We were shown to the said table only to find it also being offered to others and we were pretty abruptly told we are not sitting here.. it was all getting a bit anxious as at that time although we appreciate there will be bookings the restaurant was close to empty. We were pointed in the direction of the toilets and told we were welcome to either table outside the WCs! Nice! Not really a warm or luke warm welcome. Having lived here for quite a while now we fully recognise these traits where in the Summer some places take trade for granted and this should never be the case. The food here is incredible. My husband and I shared a huge beef rib and we’ve never tasted anything like it. The meat was so soft and tender and fell off the bone perfectly. We also had some chicken wings which were so smokey and delicious. The fries were hot and fresh and the macaroni was so tasty with some smokey pieces of pork added to the sauce. I particularly enjoyed the homemade habanero sauce. The flavour was so unique, I really wish they sold it in small bottles so as I could have taken some home with me. We shared a slice of cheesecake for dessert which was creamy with a really fantastic raspberry sauce. The staff were really nice and genuinely friendly.
