Updated review: I returned with my boyfriend and to my surprise one of the waitresses remembered my food allergy and gave us a small amuse bouche from the kitchen to start. So sweet 😊 everything was delicious as always. This time we had the black paella and the caccio melted cheese starter.. the sommelier gave us great recommendations. The first glass was corked but he gave us a new one right away and thanked us for mentioning it because maybe someone might not have said something. Great service and delicious homemade Hierbas. We leave nice tips because these people definitely deserve them with the great work they do and the kindness they always show. Also, I have to mention that the sommelier was so enthusiastic sharing some wine back stories with us.. it was really special and I thank you for that enthusiasm! Muchissimas gracias por todo! We will be back 😄
Perfect evening. Great atmosphere, relaxing, delicious food. Honestly probably one of the best valued (for Ibiza restaurants), higher end restaurants on this island, and for that I’m extremely thankful bc so many restaurants have high price tags with zero quality and tiny portions on this island let alone many places have subpar service and you end up leaving disappointed, dissatisfied, annoyed and/or angry. But this place has none of those problems..truly great quality, amazing food. Granted one item was forgotten on my plate bc it was a substitution but within minutes they brought it out, so it was a very quick fix and all was well. I’m so happy they are open late as well because it’s hard to find last minute nice restaurants and I felt very lucky to just walk in and be served quickly. I’ll be coming back for more!...
Read moreWe came across this beautiful family run gem of a restaurant only this year (having been coming to Ibiza for over 20 years) and to say it is an absolute delight is an understatement. The staff extend an immediate warm and genuine welcome from the moment you arrive and their service is attentive until the minute you leave - feeling that you've just made some new friends. Raul, the sommelier is a comical charming and enthusiastic chap who will look after your individual tastes and the chefs are so friendly that we even got a tour of the spotless kitchen. The food they create is clearly prepared with love and respect for the local ingredients and traditions - with the result being the taste of the best "home cooking" you can imagine, presented in a high end manner but without pretention. The atmosphere itself is one of gentle conversation, relaxation and laughter with a mix of tourists and local families celebrating just enjoying being there and as a bonus there was not an Istagrammer in sight. Fantastic...
Read moreBeautiful location but unfortunately not a good experience - we asked about the fish of the day and before ordering asked for the price which when the waitress stated it we were happy to pay. Food was nice, service very slow though. Ordered a glass of wine when the food came and it wasn’t brought until we had finished. When the bill came the fish was almost double the price we had been given. Rather than apologising for her mistake the waitress first said she had been referring to something else, then claimed the price was on the menu (it’s not), and then said she didn’t remember saying any price. After a lot of arguing she changed the bill to something closer but still above the price originally given and had the audacity to make a very rude comment - we shouldn’t order fresh fish in Ibiza because it’s very expensive. We wouldn’t have ordered it had she given us the correct price in the first place. Incredibly rude, spend your money...
