Nestled in the spectacular tranquil setting of the former Club House of the "Roca Llisa Golf Club" (now called "Golf de Ibiza") this new restaurant is a new hotspot between Ibiza and Santa Eulalia. For those remembering the former restaurant "Hoyo 9" in the same venue the classics from the 80s are on the menue again! The escargots which used to be served without there shells are now served in style with snail cutlery. The all time classic "Cote de Boef" ist served again only better. Perfectly cooked to perfection on the open fire and shared for two people this is one of the finest pieces of meat you can get on the islan since the surprising end of Flamingo Grill about 10 years ago. Same goes for the burgers. The tarte tartin for desert is a class for itself and is served togehter with homemade glace, which is served in perfect temperature. After Formentera, perfect icecream now arrived on Ibiza!
Exceptional food ist accompanied by a small but well selected wine menu. The most spectacular thing is the exceptional choices of fine beer specialties offered with two beers from the tap and several belgian beer specialty.
Breakfast service offers everything the heart desires in a relaxed laid back atmosphere.
Roca House is open from morining till late night and also offers pool service with tapas and snacks. For those - like us - living in Roca Llisa the small market offers a fine selection of everything you need to stay at home.
The staff is exceptionally friendly and well organized even during peak season. For dinner I recommend to make a reservation because we saw the venue almost booked out on several nights.
Everything offered in the restaurant is offered at a very reasonable price. Of course this goes in comparison with Ibiza prices, which are genereally cheaper compared to Zürich. The supermarket is a little bit more expensive but is not designed as a "supermarket" but also advertised as a location to get "what you forgot" in the supermarket. They offer very good products and have an own bakery. Gone are the times you needed to travel to...

A brand-new Ibiza restaurant that’s become the destination du jour for anyone in search of fantastic food in a supremely stylish setting.
Set among the peaceful countryside of Roca Llisa on the eastern cusp of the island and coming to life in a building that was formerly used for special events back in the 70s.
It is now been beautifully revived by owners who wanted to reinforce their strong connection to the island. By teaming up with esteemed Belgian designers @creneauinternational they’ve created a chic space in the campo where creatives can convene for luxe but laid-back dining that celebrates the freshest and most delicious ingredients.
Co-owner and chef @chefbartibiza heads up the Roca House kitchen, where an emphasis on purity extends to both product and method. Plump, sumptuous veggies are sourced from local farms, for example, while meat and fish are infused with a certain smokiness after being sizzled atop the Ibiza restaurant’s Josper grill.
Otherwise, pull up a pew on the Roca House alfresco terrace, where tables are dotted between trees, sofas sit atop brightly-coloured rugs, and parasols offer shade from the high summer sun, or head indoors for a clubhouse-inspired Ibiza restaurant experience surrounded by hand-curated artworks, leather-bound armchairs and the invigorating buzz of lively...
Read moreA very quaint, bohemian little pool club-cum-restaurant nestled beside a golf course a little outside Roca Llisa - pretty much halfway between Old Town and Santa Eulària. It’s a delightful spot, we went for lunch on Saturday and the restaurant was about a third full, but there were plenty of people using the sinners around the pool.
We ordered the chicken curry and a Caesar salad (forgive us, we aren’t Neanderthals, but sometimes the heart wants what the heart wants, ok?) - both were great. Caesars are rarely a wow feature but the presentation was better than I’ve seen and they gave the sauce on the side which should be a MAINSTAY of this poolside classic. The chicken was also breaded and fried - and maybe it’s the Scots in me but that really sang to my heart. The chicken curry was moist, tender and well-flavoured. Also had a couple of cocktails which looked the part, and my smoky oaxaca really evoked Victorian chimneysweeps.
Poolside grub can’t possibly get to 5/5, but what we saw came close. The burger also looked like a winner but I think I’d have made an enemy of the Dutch family next to us if I stole their 14-yr old’s lunch to try it.
Not the easiest to get to, and I wish it had been fuller, then I think the Ambience would have been 5/5. Will...
