Frischer Zackenbarsch vom Feinsten. Wir waren mit 4 Personen da und haben die Empfehlung des Koches, welcher auch der Chef des Hauses war, angenommen. Er zeigte uns vorher ein Prachtexemplar eines Zackenbarsches, der uns a la Plancha zubereitet wurde. Wir haben einen Fischteller mit Gambas und Muscheln bestellt. Davor gab es einen gemischten Salat. Als Beilage gab es kanarische Salz Kartoffeln und Brot mit der leckeren Mojo Verde und Mojo Rojo. Der Zackenbarsch hat ein festeres weißes Fleisch. Er war köstlich mit viel frischem Knoblauch angerichtet. Die Gambas waren auf dem Punkt genau zubereitet und reichlich vorhanden. Es gab riesige Muscheln dabei. Als Getränke hatten wir Wasser, Bier mit weißer Limo und den Rotwein des Hauses ausgesucht. Der Rotwein hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Als Nachtisch haben wir uns noch einen Pudding des Hauses gegönnt, welcher mit selbst gemachter Feigenmarmelade serviert wurde. Wir saßen auf der Aussenterrasse mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer. Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Sogar der Chefkoch kam vorbei und erkundigte sich darüber, ob es uns schmeckt. Dieses Lokal ist zwar im Preis Leisungsverhälniss etwas teurer, aber der frische Fisch und das Ambiente ist sein Geld wert. Dieses Lokal kann ich jedem empfehlen, wer sich in der Nähe von El Pris aufhält. Danke, wir kommen wieder...;-)
Mero fresco en su máxima expresión. Estuvimos allí con 4 personas y aceptamos la recomendación del chef, que también era el jefe de la casa. Previamente nos mostró un magnífico ejemplar de mero, que nos preparó a la plancha. Pedimos un plato de pescado con gambas y mejillones. Antes había una ensalada mixta. Como guarnición hubo patatas a la sal canaria y pan con el delicioso Mojo Verde y Mojo Rojo. El mero tiene una carne blanca más firme. Estaba delicioso con mucho ajo fresco. Las gambas estaban cocinadas al punto y abundantes. Había enormes conchas. Como bebidas habíamos elegido agua, cerveza con limonada blanca y el vino tinto de la casa. El vino tinto sabía muy bien. De postre nos dimos el gusto de un budín de la casa, que se sirvió con mermelada de higo casera. Nos sentamos en la terraza exterior con una maravillosa vista al mar. Las camareras fueron muy atentas y amables. Incluso el chef vino y preguntó si nos gustaba. Este restaurante es un poco más caro en relación precio-rendimiento, pero el pescado fresco y el ambiente valen la pena. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que se aloje cerca de El Pris. Fresh grouper at its finest. We were there with 4 people and accepted the recommendation of the chef, who was also the head of the house. Beforehand, he showed us a magnificent specimen of grouper, which was prepared for us a la plancha. We ordered a fish plate with gambas and mussels. Before that there was a mixed salad. As a side dish there were Canarian salt potatoes and bread with the delicious Mojo Verde and Mojo Rojo. The grouper has a firmer white flesh. It was delicious with lots of fresh garlic. The gambas were cooked to the point and plentiful. There were huge shells. As drinks we had chosen water, beer with white lemonade and the red wine of the house. The red wine tasted very good. For dessert we treated ourselves to a house pudding, which was served with homemade fig jam. We sat on the outside terrace with a wonderful view of the sea. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly. Even the chef came by and asked if we liked it. Read moreThis was our favourite place for an exceptional meal in Tenerife! This restaurant really is excellent. The host/chef, his staff & waiter are great characters, very welcoming, warm, friendly and funny. We visited for my birthday long lunch on a Thursday in late January. The food was awesome! We had a potato side dish with a delicious sauce, a very large portion of the freshest and most flavoursome mussels that we have ever tasted, they came with Chefs own sauce which was amazing!!! Followed by Medregal fish surrounded by prawns & sweet potato. The signature sauces that the chef provided were outstanding! We had beer, wine and Sangria & finished with coffee & a banana rum . We sat outside under cover, even though it showered rain we were very comfortable with a fantastic view and dramatic sounds of the waves breaking on the rocky shore. This place combines outstanding food, a very comfortable atmosphere, and super friendly service.

We found this pearl by chance and returned 5 times in our 10 day stay. It is a restaurant in the way i dream of. Only fresh ingredients, mainly of the catch of the day, baught in the morning from the local fishermen. But also meat available sometimes or when preordered. The chef attends you personally and shows the ingredients of what he will cook and prepare for you. He has great recommendations, will prepare according to your wish and right on the spot. Speciallized also in arrozes y paellas. All in all one of the best culinary experiences i have had in a long time. And as an extra, you have a spectacular full exposure view on el Teide topped by a sunset over the water.
