The atmosphere here is more like a restaurant-bar. At the bar, someone is drinking beer, at the table some people are playing chess and drinking wine, and eating Canarian potatoes. Then, in another hall, a birthday is celebrated. Here, it is tasty and atmospheric, and home-made food is prepared, as if it were cooked by a grandmother. Simple design, simple serving of dishes, but the main thing for us are the taste of food and attentive waiters. The first time we came here, not knowing Canarian cuisine and the language at all, so I was offered to go into the kitchen and see with my own eyes what is being prepared, what it looks like and what I would like to order. It was very nice. After this visit, we became frequent visitors to this restaurant. Our favorite dish here is carne con papas. Meat and potatoes melt in your mouth.

If you, like me, love to find local rustique gems with marvellous local food, then this is the place for you. If not, this is probably still the place for you, because their fish was to die for. Really. Whoever does the fish is a masterchef! Also, bear in mind that all this, including the local wine, sells for prices below fast-food. Top it up with great service and there you have it! Thank you for two wonderful evenings with great food and wine!

¡Volveremos!

Last night had the best authentic canarian meal at this fabulous little restaurant, my good lady had fish with canarian potatoes she quite simply put it as the best fish she's ever eaten now thats some compliment from a piscatarian. Yours truly had the meat and potatoes which came in a lovely broth the meat fell apart on your fork and was cooked to perfection beautifully soft and moorish on the pallet whilst the potatoes were like roasties. All in all a fabulous feed washed down with 6 bottles of Dorada pilsner for under 30euro for the two of us. Happy to highly recommend if you up this end...

If you like to explore local eateries this is the place. We went there for early lunch just accidentally, looking for parking during the Sunday market of Tacoronte. We went in for a cup of coffee and ended up trying locally produced wine and other snacks. Looking like locals spend their weekend. The man at the bar was very helpful and explained to us in good English what is what. We didn't try any local food as it was too early for that but I would definitely want to come...
