Stumbled across El Rancho by accident while searching for a tapas restaurant around Tarifa. Couldnt find a place to park in Tarifa so we googled the nearest place to eat which was El Rancho. The place looked deserted but we tried it anyway. We speak very little Spanish and the waiter spoke 'poco' English but this wasnt an issue. A very warm welcome and English menus. All the customers were Spanish which for us was a good sign. 4 meals were ordered 2 x pork mains 1 Fried Calamaris and a Steak. All meals were amazing and big portions! The steak was possibly the biggest steak ive ever eaten and cooked (med/rare) to perfection. 4 mains 2 cokes 3 beers Bread to start €64 + 10% €10 tip
Brilliant place to eat, very friendly and i will talk about that...

Didn't ask how I liked my steak which is medium rare, it was like an uncooked cow on my plate. The waitress threw our dinner down, wanted to leave then. But too polite to do that. Then waiter decided to clean a fan next to me, dust went in my cow maybe it added flavour! Not ever going...
