Restaurant Torre de la Móra — Restaurant in Tarragona

We were staying at the campsite so tried the restaurant. They offer a full menu including pizzas and also a menu del dia which we opted for. The cost was advertised at €25 for non camping guests or €18 for residents but despite us staying we were charged €25. The menu offered three courses, a bottle of wine (between two) & water. The food wasn't too bad but the service was terrible and we waited a long time for our mains. We ate on a Sunday lunchtime and the place was busy but not full. The majority of the staff are young kids and most of them work hard but organisation could be improved. I had Calamari for main course which was really good and cooked perfectly, but unfortunately the entire dish consisted only of calamari and nothing else.... fine for a tapas dish but not for a main course as part of a meal. They also offer takeaway for the campsite and we tried the pizzas which were Ok but nothing more. Definitely room for improvement but handy if camping. We found the other restaurants on the sea front to be very average too and had the best tapas at the two small bars as you enter La Mora from the main road...

💁‍♂️ Service is really friendly and willing to help, but some waiters lack proper training for their own good - seasonal workers not organized in May, fine, but in July, it would have been chaos.

💲 Prices can be a little high for some dishes. Even in Barcelona it's not that expensive. We are in front of the sea and the fish cost more than the bistec, really a tourist-trap behavior.

The people serving the food are very forthcoming and nice. Thank you. But please, change this manger or whatever it has to be. This is the second year in a row that the quality of the food does not correspond with the standards of the camping itself. To have a simple dish, such as unas bravas or just having breakfast is not possible. I am super sorry, but at the current rates of which cottages are rented out, you can not serve something like this... Also the organization of the entire bar/restaurant is "chaotic". Processes are badly structured and you can feel that "proper management" is missing e.g. it is unclear who is responsible for what, employees work instead of attending customers, there seems to be no accountability (although...
