We had a romantic dinner with our baby boy last week and found Munsoo to be one of the most original, stylish and best restaurants in Lanzarote.
I’ve been coming to Club La Santa since 1984 and the restaurants on the island are good but often very similar with identical menus.
Munsoo is a breath of fresh air. Full of sexy, stylish people, beautifully decorated and with a brilliant short menu.
Every dish we tried was stunning and simple.
Service was exceptional and one of the twin owners Alex stopped at our table several times to chat and help.
It’s aimed squarely at locals with no menus in English (which we love!) but we were welcomed speaking very basic Spanish.
The place was somehow family friendly with several children & babies but at the same time very chic with an amazing atmosphere. Somewhere you don’t want to leave.
You can sense the community there and I hope they grow whilst keeping their identity, hopefully remaining true to their spirit.
Thanks...

The cacao with beetroot, and superfoods drink was absolutely delicious, and I’d highly recommend it.
However, the food didn’t live up to expectations. While it looked appetizing, it lacked taste and energy. I’m quite sensitive to the energy of food, especially since I eat healthily, and unfortunately, it didn’t leave me feeling great. My husband also didn’t enjoy the dish of potatoes with ham and fried eggs much. As for the dessert, we ordered a cheesecake, but it was made with smoked cheese, which didn’t give us a pleasant experience either.
I would return for the drinks and the atmosphere, but unfortunately, the food wasn’t...
Read moreOne of the WORST meals we have had in Lanzarote. Extremely overpriced and poorly made food. We were shocked with all the good reviews, but I think some people are just blinded by the Instagram-background and not tasting their food.
The burger was dry, overcooked, and basic. The (€7.50!!) cheesecake was inedible (like eating a block of cream cheese, gross) - we literally couldn't eat it. The "sexy coffee" was just a basic latte with some powdered cocoa and cinnamon (can be found at any Starbucks).
Prices are double elsewhere on the island, and it's so easy to get way better food in Lanzarote. We felt grifted when we left and would like...
