A fine welcome where we quite swiftly was showed to our table. We also got to order our wine in a fine manner, however, when wine and water was put on the table we where left to open water and serve our selves while the waiter stood looking at somthing else and then just left without a word. Then nothing happend. We tried to get attention from waitors ordering food, but no one seemed interested in comming over to our table. When orders eventually where taken the food (pizzas) arrived quite quickly, and the pizzas were really good. Some of the very best we had after many years in Moraira. However, when again attempting to get waitors attention as I wanted to order a glas of red wine to the pizza, we were again totally ignored. So I just gave that up. At the end we ordered cofees and the bill (at the same time) and concluded that this is not a place we will return to for eating in, but probably will consider for a takeaway. As a closing remark I would point out that the location, with a view to the paring lot and the heavily trafficed road nearby, is not very enticing. When combined with litter in the plants boxes and paper left floating on the floor, the whole place just seemed to lack attention. Petty, as the pizzas, as mentioned,...
Read moreExcellent food, apart from the fact that we found a melted part of the plastic label from the goats cheese on one of the PIZZAS. We alerted two of the waiters, on separate occasions, and although one of them apologised, no further action or recompense was taken. The back patio was very hot, filled with evening sunshine. We heard the waitress tell the diners at a neighbouring table that they should have booked if they wanted to sit in the shade. Adjusting the parasols would have been the appropriate course of action rather than blame the customers, and several minutes later they did indeed do this. Overall, a disappointing experience as we have been a number of times, and have come across the somewhat casual and dismissive attitude of some of the older members of staff before. We have sadly now decided that we will not be returning for the foreseeable future as a result of this...
Read moreI recently dined at Gima, and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcomed. They were knowledgeable about the menu, and their recommendations were spot on.
I had the goat cheese salad, and it was excellent! The goat cheese was creamy and full of flavor, perfectly complemented by fresh greens, cucumber, tomatoes, avocado, fruit, nuts and a well-balanced dressing. It was a delightful combination and truly one of the highlights of the meal.
Overall, with its warm service and delicious food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to come back and try more...
