We’ve been frequent visitors over the years, and every visit reaffirms why this place stands out. It’s conveniently located (just outside Tijarafe on the LP-1) with a large, accessible parking lot, making it easy to get to, and once you’re inside, you’re greeted by a stunning view of the ocean that takes dining to a whole new level. The interior is always spotless, with tasteful décor that adds to the relaxed, upscale ambiance, and their balcony? Absolutely the best spot for a sunset meal!
The food is simply outstanding. The quality of the meats and fish is top-tier, with flavors that keep us coming back. Some of our favorites include the rich “Ensaladilla de boniata y langostines,” a delightful sweet potato salad with langoustines, and the flavorful “Morros de cerdo con garbanzos,” a spiced-up pig snout dish with chickpeas. The veal tenderloin (“solomillo de ternera”) and pork chops (“chuleta de cerdo”) are always perfectly cooked, and the “ali oli de cilantro y jalapeños” is the perfect complement. Don’t forget the green mojo, a must-have that we order without even glancing at the menu.
Even the basics like bread, fries, and side salads are fresh and delicious. Over the years, we’ve noticed that while the menu evolves, the quality remains consistently excellent. Portions are waaay too much ! Nobody can finish that much meat and fish - it is such a waste to throw away so much food every day ! Super unsustainable. At least offer small or big portions.
The design and interior - so old school and not cosy at all! Looks like a classic tourist restaurant. Way too loud as well - we could barely hear our own word and not have a normal conversation at the table. There also was a very loud noise from the kitchen every 20 minutes. Felt like sitting in a canteen at university.
The quality of the food was good though and value for money was great, as it’s very cheap.
During the day you also have a very nice view from the terrace for sure. The service was also very eager and hard-working, they speak a bit of English and German as well which was helpful.

Positives - portion sizes were good for the price. The sides with thr fish were good. The prawns as main were pretty good, but partily undercooked. The side of patatas fritas were good.
Negative - maybe the service was having a bad day, but he wasnt very friendly at all. It was quiet when we went (Wednesday evening), so you would think he would have time to at least smile. And he asked us twice if we definitely had a reservation, which we did (but the place was empty). Below the balcony there is a huge ostrich penned in like a zoo animal just pacing up and down.
