Personally speaking, it was my first time in Romeral restaurant. I heard about it from a friend who frequently goes there . I was told that if I'm lucky, their paella is sometimes good ,but some other times , it is not so good ! The vegan paella I ate turned out to be fine ( not bad and not delicious either ) I think what made it not so good is that they added lettuce to it ! Which is something I completely don't understand! The service is really good and fast and the Paella was served with good quality water , bread and slices of lemons in a side dish and it was 24 euros ! Sadly, they don't have a smaller paella portion ! The smallest paella option they serve is for two ! And it is quite filling because one can't possibly finish it alone . if you are two people who had had a filling or a late breakfast at home or somewhere else and you are not someone who over eats , then don't order more than the paella 🥘 . So , I recommend that you skip breakfast or you make sure you have breakfast before 9 , so you can have a salad , paella and a side dish and also their pastries which seem so good ! And that is exactly what I will do next time I go there ! Another thing I actually would like to shed lights on, is that the restaurant should actually start serving more Spanish vegan traditional dishes and also have a vegan...

We’ve been coming here since before it became Nou Romeral. The peaceful setting is still lovely, and the wood-fired paella, while overly salty, is still something special. That said, the rice wasn’t completely dry yet, so the socarrat was minimal this time.
What’s changed is the atmosphere. The older, experienced waiters are gone, replaced by younger staff who are polite but lack the seasoned warmth and professionalism we remembered. The menu has been significantly reduced, which is a real loss.
One detail that really doesn’t sit well: you’re expected to download the menu via QR code, but they refuse to share the WiFi password, even though there's a visible “RomeralClientes” network and mobile coverage is weak. That kind of design choice is not customer-friendly, especially in a remote setting.
This was our second visit since the name change. The first one was a fiasco... slow service and chaos. Things have improved, but it still hasn’t regained the soul or consistency of the old Romeral. The food makes it worth considering, but the experience still feels like a work...
