One word: amazing! The setting is beautiful, by the sea. The food was an absolute delight! We went twice, had both fish and meat on the BBQ, great seasoning and tasty! The starters are very tasty too. All fresh, and different to your usual. Great choice of wines to go with this too. And to top it off amazing staff! Thank you Oreliano for looking after us, and being so helpful always with a smile! And why not enjoy the pool side too?! A lovely meal and afternoon spent there.

The best restaurant in the bay. View is unobstructed, atmosphere is posh. Outdoor sitting only. Dishes are fresh, locally sourced and delicious. Pricing is moderate, considering the complexity and size of the served dishes. Reservation is compulsory, during prime summer months! As a starter, grilled octopus arm, main dish picanetta and desert flambè Baba. Service is exquisite, when in La Escala, pay a visit, you won’t regret it.

"ESTRELLA MICHELIN EN PARRILLA" En nuestra segunda estancia de vacaciones en el Hotel Can Miquel, un paraiso de tranquilidad, hemos vuelto a disfrutar de la excelente cocina del Restaurante La brasa dentro del complejo del hotel. Desconozco si algún inspector de la Guia Michelin se ha pasado por este lugar, si no lo ha hecho todavia, tomen nota porque se merecen para mi humilde opinión 1 estrella de esta afamada guia. Liderado por el Sr.Miquél y su hermana Caty , excelentes profesionales y mejores personas, te hacen sentir como en tu casa. Gozan de un excelente equipo de trabajo en cocina , parrillas con Montse al frente de los Maestros parrilleros, así como un equipo de camareros extraordinarios, con Martí,Júlia , David, Adriá, etc, siempre atentos a lo que necesites y con la sonrisa en sus labios que es de agradecer. Se puede disfrutar de una amplia carta de Pescados, mariscos carnes y verduras, todo a la magnifica brasa, tratado todo el producto fresco con el máximo mimo. No se pierdan esta joya de la cocina Mediterranea, con una calidad/precio inmejorable. Muy recomendable, por tanto volveremos !!! Un fuerte abrazo para Miquél y Caty , de Manuel y Anna. Nice food and friendly service in a great location. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the restaurant allows people to smoke at the tables, our experience involved a man at the table next to us smoking while we ate. Apart from that I would have given 5/5.

Sitio bonito, pero la comida no merece la pena el precio que se paga. De primero hicimos la ensalada de burrata y el tartar de gambas. La ensalada buena, pero el tartar súper decepcionante (las gambas súper picadas, hechas pure, y el sabor malísimo). De segundo hicimos la sepia a la brasa (buena), salmón salvaje ahumado (pasable), picaña (pasable), ventresca de atún a la brasa (pasable). Por último, de postre pedimos todos lo mismo, la pavlova, que a la vista parecía muy buena, pero calidad muy muy mala. Las dos estrellas son por el personal y por la localización. No recomendable para nada.

Un restaurant des plus excellent ! Bien placé vue sur la mer et la plage. Service très appréciable (parle français) et rapide. Des entrées très bonnes (moules, tomate burrata, soubresade). Et un plat pour ma part des plus succulents : burger au pork bulled avec une viande comme je n'en est jamais mangé les autres plats étaient tout aussi bon ! Pour un pris de rien du tout. Je recommande fortement de passer manger ou boire un coup si vous êtes dans les environs !
