Restaurante Pizzería La Roima — Restaurant in Torrox

We recently had dinner on the terrace of this restaurant, and while the food was good — well-prepared and enjoyable — the overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by something quite surprising.

We were traveling with our dog (a large, calm dog), as we’ve done for years throughout Andalusia, especially during the hot summer months. We were seated away from other tables, which we completely understand. But what shocked us was that we couldn’t get a simple bowl of water for our dog — in the middle of July.

The older waiter eventually came back with… an ashtray, saying it was the only thing available from the kitchen. I ended up emptying one of my salad plates and filling it with my bottled water so my dog could drink. Frankly, we were speechless.

This is the Costa del Sol, a region known for its hospitality. We’ve been coming here for years and have never encountered anything like this. If this waiter doesn’t like dogs, fine — but maybe the hospitality industry isn’t the best fit.

We usually go to the beach to eat, but we live nearby and we love Italian cuisine, so I was happy when I saw the restaurant. But unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The food was delicious, so I'm especially sorry that it won't be my favorite restaurant. The staff was downright unfriendly. Then on the bill, 3dl of carbonated mineral water is €9/piece. This error was allegedly caused by the computer, because the normal price of mineral water is 2€.. Of course, the error was corrected, but I think it doesn't...

Después de que me hablaran muy bien de este sitio decidí ir a probar fuimos dos días y de mal en peor ...mala educación de los camareros le dije de pedir una pizza al gusto y me dijo que si que máximo 5 ingredientes bien le dije 4 que era los que quería..me dice te voy a poner esta pizza y le añado dos ingredientes más ahí llevaba ya 6 ingredientes más de lo que me había dicho que se podía poner al gusto es decir la pizza valía 8.20 se le añadió 2 ingredientes 60 céntimos cada uno es decir que si hubiese pedido la pizza a mi gusto hubiese salido más barata ...y no le intereso bueno no dije nada ...pedimos pasta gratinadas y vino sin gratinar no pasa nada...pero al llegar la pizza venía escasa de ingredientes y más seca que el ojo un tuerto enfin no volveremos a venir en mucho tiempo pedimos agua fría y viene caliente con hielo en vasos cosa que nos tenía que haber preguntado que si la quería..mi pareja me pregunta en ese momento que si quiero el agua así o no ..Salta el camarero que es lo mismo cosa que si no la quiero la devuelvo y punto no que nos puso en una situación incómoda nos bebimos 2 vasos de agua y al 3 ya nos...
