La Pará — Restaurant in Turre

The owner seems only to speak Spanish but were trying to learn so persevered, managed to ask for a menu. He disappeared & reappeared with two menus; one for a 3 course Menu Del Dia at €12 and a separate pizza menu. A few seconds later, after choosing our pizzas by pointing at them and being shown a side door we realised that the (empty apart from us) restaurant was through there! The doors were closed because the other guests were drinking at the outside tables. A charming younger waiter who spoke very good English appeared, asking if we needed the heating on but the room was comfortable for us because it had been a glorious sunny day, only cooling off after darkness had fallen.

Our pizzas came shortly, they were large, thin & crispy and extremely delicious with a good amount of very tasty toppings. A few times a lady we presumed was the owners wife came through asking if everything was ok. She spoke quite good English too and it was obvious she was the chef and was interested to know what we thought of her cooking. We told her it was delicious.

We had Vienetta for dessert which is a very common option around here and the large portions were exactly as expected. Coffee to finish, also very tasty. This is now our go to pizza...

Hay varios detalles de este sitio que no me gustan. Estoy comiendo de menú todos los días por mi trabajo. Desde que cambiaron de camarer@s la cosa se ha venido a bajo. El jefe es un poco seco tirando a malhumorado. Le digo que estoy en la terraza, que voy a comer, y después de 45 minutos de espera vuelvo a pasar y ya me dirijo al comedor y allí si me atienden y todo correcto, menos por el jefe que me podía haber dicho un lo siento se me ha pasado, pero nada. Como si acabara de llegar. La comida está muy buena. Pero lo que no me gusta del menú es que cuando te toman nota te obligan a decir hasta lo que quieres de postre, o sea, que ya tienes que saber de antemano él hambre que tienes. Otra cosa que no me gusta es la calidad del wc. (Que poca gente tiende hablar de ellos), sin jabon y el cuidado así así. Buscare otra alternativa para comer en Turre porque este sitio ya no es lo que era, por el servicio, que aunque lo intentan, cuando se llena el comedor que son alrededor de 12 mesas, la cosa se pone mal. Y a la terraza no se asoman. La comida es la misma que tenían, eso no ha cambiado. Ha pasado un mes que estuve y he vuelto para asegurarme que a lo mejor fue un caso aislado pero para mi decepción me he tenido que ir sin comer después de 45 minutos. Habiendo 4 mesas en el salón, viéndome el dueño en la terraza por tres veces y dos más que me he asomado al comedor para ver si se quedaba libre alguna mesa individual. Me...
