Hostal y Restaurante Vidaña. — Restaurant in Ugíjar

It's probably true to say that one of the reasons that we remember Ugijar so well & with fondness is because of Bar Vidaña and also part reason for our return. The last time we visited the town 2 or 3 yrs ago we enjoyed many a great afternoon & evening here and we have told many people about it since, with its vibrant atmosphere & complimentary tapas menu that one got to choose from.

So what's happened, We have returned, and during 4 attempted re-visits, we only sat down the first time as there was no atmosphere the following visits. With drinks prices on the higher end, no tapas apart from a few nuts and only 2 tables put out, we were the only customers for the hour that we visited on a Friday evening & devoid of any atmosphere. Such a shame, I hope that this once lovely bar that has given us such great memories can find...

El ambiente es perfecto e idóneo para representar al máximo la tradición de los bares alpujarreños, dentro del local,es espectacular, el diseño, los detalles, los colores,la madera, todo en general, se asemeja mucho a la tradición alpujarreña, si estás de turismo y ocio, y quieres conocer de verdad el ambiente tradicional alpujarreño,este es el lugar perfecto, donde también,te puedes quedar alguna que otra noche en el hostal que está bastante bien también, el servicio son los mejor, siempre te tratan muy bien con una sonrisa en la cara, son muy acogedores,también quisiera añadir sobre fuera del local,hay una mesa de billar y un furbolin donde puedes pasar el rato de tardeo con tus colegas mientras te tomas algo en la terraza,por último la comida, fue de mi agrado, he ido a muchísimos bares, y ninguno como en el mesón Vidaña,hacen las patatas igual de ricas y en el punto perfecto que se asemeja a mis requisitos,son las mejores que probé, la carne con tomate,uno de mis favoritos, y los raviolis, búa, una delicia, sinceramente tienen una gran variedad de comida a elegir,sobre todo alpujarreña,para sentirse de verdad como en aquellos tiempos, donde había baile de ánimas, en resumen, es un sitio muy especial para pasar la tarde con tus colegas a tomarse algo,o para hacer turismo, solo me queda decir,muchas gracias a todos el personal por su amabilidad y...
