Service was excellent! Ambiance is perfect. The food was fine, similar however to what you can buy at Costco and cook at home. We had taquitos, flauta, cheddarpenos and the chimichanga which was fine but for us needed more kick. The waiter brought us a special salsa that was very good so the dish became good. On a scale of 1-10 sadly we'd only rate the restaurant 5. The better choice in our opinion in Torre del Mar is La Cantina, where the food is fabulous each time (4 visits since October). This is a fantastic place, and judging by the place being packed with people others think so too. Not bad but not at all interesting either. The chilli con carne is mainly beans and the difference between the enchiladas and burritos is blurry. Not expensive but not worth the money either. It will be some time before we retry, the hunt for a good Mexican continue. What a shame, looking at the timeline it seem like the changes during the last year did nothing good...
