Overall pleased with the food, but I think service can be improved. Despite raising our hand - we need to wait until they get our attention so we can order. But to be fair - staff is very friendly.

We’ve started with cool drinks Cerveza, Coca-Cola, y Tinto de Verano.

Our food: Tomate Pelado (Tomato and Anchovies Salad) Pescaditos de la lonja en fritura (Fried Anchovies) Bravisimas NOTE: When they’ve asked you for bread - it’s not for free, you’re also going to pay for that.

Salad overall is okay - for me, the cheese didn’t go well with the salty flavor of Anchovies. Fried Anchovies flavor was there - but it’s not as crunchy as how we know it supposed to. And Potatoes, great taste and just nicely cooked. I think we paid around 50€

This restaurant has a good beach view that I believe requires you to reserve a table, especially in perfect sunny weather. We were sitting at the back because we just walked in - but great ambiance.

Overall, we don't mind coming back, especially if we want to experience the beach view with refreshing drinks & food, and hopefully, staff will be more attentive...

We arrived at 3:45 pm without a reservation and were told they could serve us. We had the worst experience ever. From the start the waitress gave us attitude and rushed us to order, she told us the rice would take 45 minutes to which we agreed. After 30 minutes she came to tell us we couldn't order two types of rice, the menu states it is ok while ordering 2 portions and a maximum of two flavors per table. We agreed on just one flavor. After 2 hours of waiting we were told the rice was burned and they had started a new preparation which took 15 minutes. She gave us two little starters to keep us waiting. After 20 minutes I approached the waiter to tell her we were leaving then she arrived with the rice. It was undercooked and salty. The head of waiters told us to order dessert so she could ensure it was coming, but after that experience, we didn't want dessert. We had to eat the food while the waiters kicked the chairs to put them next to us. We felt awful and rushed. The only good thing is that she didn't charge us for the rice. I don’t know if this is because we didn't have a...

Very satisfied with the experience. We were four people looking for a place to have a nice vegetarian rice on a Sunday. Not looking for a big lunch, we were looking mostly for a good rice and some starter without getting too full. At 13:30 we managed to book a table and the paella for 15:30. We had sepia as a starter, drinking water and having a paella of veggies with deserts (maracuya pie and apple pie). Everything summed up to 90euros. We even got compensated for the tiny delay on getting the deserts (in any case, it was short waiting times), so that helped to value even more the service offered! Total cost ended up being about 21e per person. The place can get a bit noisy when full, but nothing too bad, it is still possible to talk without shouting to each other :D Would love to visit in the near future to try...

We did not have a reservation but the owner who was working the front desk, was very nice and set up a table for the 2 of us. We only had simple drinks and some small stuff [as we only wanted a quick lunch before flying home]. The croquettas were the best I ever had. Perfectly balanced and with an amazing ham in them - quote from the owner: "I pay the bill for that yamon, so I know how good it is" 😂. Also the fried fish platter was an assortment of different fish, making it a tasting pleasure. The restaurant itself was completely full with groups and families and knowing it now, I would recommend to go there with a group - but make a reservation 😁. The location is a bit of a drive away from valencia, but 100% worth it. And beach lovers also get their share in that area.

A vegan can eat here, but vegan options are very limited. We had bravas with the sauce on a side (not vegan). The potatoes were skin-on and freshly fried, nice even without the sauce although a bit dry. For mains we had a vegetable paella (minimum for two people). This was one of the best vegetable paellas I've had in Valencia. Very flavoursome, thin layer of rice (as it should be) and not too busy with too many vegetables. They use garrofón valenciano (Valencian butter beans), which is rare to see these days due to their price. The restaurant was very busy on a Sunday but they offered to sit in the back terrace. Not great views but happy they accommodated. I'd recommend to book in advance.
