Spent a couple nights here whilst visiting santiago. Rooms clean and modern. Really impressed for the price. Staff are really friendly, my Spanish is terrible, a few sentences at most and basic listening skills, but despite that they were very accommodating and friendly, doing their best to communicate without rushing or getting frustrated. Ate their on the second night and the food was really quite good for the price. I've seen a few bad reviews complaining about food quality and the staff but I didn't see any of this. For what we paid I'm more than happy with the service and food. The prawns had a grossly fuzzy texture, as if they went from the freezer straight into the pan. The meat was overcooked and beyond chewy, despite us asking for medium rare. Additionally, one of the meat dishes tasted like dishwasher soap which ruined the meal (likely the plate wasnt dried properly). The worst part of the experience is that the waiter treated us like burdens by dropping the cutlery onto our plates, slamming drink glasses and menus onto the table and forgetting parts of our order and then insisting we never ordered it...

The rooms are very comfortable, with a great shower. |It's 2 kms from Ponte Ulla, and not too far from the Camino.|It's great that there is a bar and restaurant attached. Being a Sunday, they don't have a menu del dia, but we had a very nice pizza and salad. The wine was good too.|It only loses a point, because it is a bit noisy, with doors slamming all night. And the staff are not very friendly...
