A small but beautifully crafted menu. Each dish we chose featured something totally unique, making it an exciting place to dine. The innovative autumn salad included an eclectic mix of elements such as mandarins, goat's cheese and quince. The delicious pumpkin 'ajo blanco' enjoyed an array of garnishes that really embellished both flavour and texture. Our third starter featured crispy rye toast loaded with flavourful home-smoked salmon rillettes. As the main course, we both chose the pomfret fillet - which was perfectly seasoned and so well cooked that it almost melted in the mouth - served with sweet potato mash, peppers and fennel plus a generous side dish of confit potatoes. Although the desserts sounded delicious, we were just too full to have been able to do them justice!
