From the moment we arrived at La Sal, we knew we were in for something special. Our party of two adults and three children was warmly welcomed, and the experience exceeded our expectations.
Atmosphere: The building itself is steeped in history and charm, with its beautiful façade, lush garden, and thoughtfully designed terrace. Different seating areas, twinkling string lights, and a quirky cocktail caravan create a magical vibe. Sitting under the grand trees, with the lights softly glowing and geckos climbing the walls, you truly feel the Catalan spirit.
Service: The service struck the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and genuinely pleasant to interact with. He regularly checked in, made thoughtful suggestions, and helped us shape the meal in a way that worked beautifully for the kids as well.
Food: We started with shared tapas – perfectly fried calamari and flavorful chicken meatballs, both beautifully plated and as delicious as they looked. For mains, we enjoyed a whole sea bass, chicken stuffed with king prawns, and for the younger ones, a mix of tapas and a starter. Every dish was well-prepared, full of flavor, and attractively presented. The desserts surprised us with inspiring flavor combinations. Portions were generous – not tiny as in some fine-dining spots, but honest, high-quality plates with creative touches.
A truly delightful dining experience that blends history, atmosphere, and great food in a way that feels both special and welcoming. Highly...

The food quality wasn’t great - the bravas were quite ice and so were the pão de queijo but the mains and desserts were not very flavourful. There were limited vegetarian options - just the rigatoni - which was quite a random flavour combo and not very tasty. It felt a bit like a mishmash of ingredients without much thought into the flavour.
The other dishes also lacked flavour unfortunately. And the desserts sounded a lot better on the menu than they tasted. We didn’t finish them. Unfortunate as it is quite expensive too!
Service was lovely though and they were kind! I’d recommend maybe...

The edamame starter is delicious, I could have eaten another portion! My fish was cooked to perfection. Service delightful. I hope to be back in the area soon, just to be able to go to this...
