If you want to laugh, you have to be in this restaurant. If you want a good dinner, go somewhere else. Because good reviews we went to this restaurant. A few waiters will entertain the customers. We had a lot of fun because of the language used and a complete approach. 🤡 We only ordered main course 1 chicken and 1 steak, we were asked if we wanted normal baked potatoes that we had to order separately. The pieces of chicken that seem to have been separated by a monkey were very greasy and without extra as a vegetable or something like sauce. The rare baked steak was served on an ice cold plate without anything about it. The steak was very large, think between 0.4 / 0.5 kg and cold inside. 😢 Waiter waited for our first impression and asked us if the steak was warm enough and I could answer with "no". Take the meat back to the chef's paradise and within a few minutes I got the steak something more warm back with greetings and say that the kitchen is open for 24 hours to repeat. The served fries dripped with oil. We eat something and end at an early stage. for dessert we had to choose a display cabinet because it says that the quantity could not be described. Fortunately, the selected desserts were deliciously tasty. After paying the bill which was very reasonable for good food, not as served, we got an own brewed drink. Was really not to drink, such a strong and seema as pure purification spirit, with some fruit in it. We feel that they want to poison us, so we throw it in the windowsill. what an experience with these...
Read moreWe went here on 3/01/25 around 6pm. Shown to a lovely table by attentive staff member. As we walked through the beautiful restaurant we could tell this was a very good place. Four of us had starters and mains all absolutely wonderful. Specials of goat, lamb and suckling pig all outstanding and huge portions. I also have to mention the sangria? My wife is a connoisseur of this drink and it's been a very long time since she's had one this good. Took there time making it and presented it with care and attention. Absolutely full of all kinds of fruit and tasted exactly how she remembers them years ago. Staff are amazing and speak very good English even though we try a limited Spanish out which goes down well. Views from Terrace are also a delight but it was a little cold to sit outside. I cannot give you the bill as our friends sorted it behind our back ? But the menu is so good value I don't know how they do it? Could fit a desert in but the cabinet is full of mouth watering deliciousness. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely be back...

This 28-year-old family run restaurant is very friendly and we always look forward to a great chat and laughter with the staff. At El Chamo, the staff takes time explaining to customers of the numerous dishes on offer as all the ingredients are freshly selected daily by the owner Jose and the meals are prepared with much care and love by 6 ladies in the kitchen.
