Bodegas Granbazán — Restaurant in Vilanova de Arousa

We visited the winery and had lunch as part of a large group (80 people). The welcoming atmosphere of the estate and our wonderful guide was superb, very relaxed and friendly, nothing was hurried and we all settled in nicely for what was to be a lovely experience. The relaxed tour and demonstrations were very informative, very interesting and given at a good pace with plenty of time to ask questions and enjoy the vineyards and winery. The tasting of wines was super. Good variety and good progression through the wines produced. Plenty of chat about the wines and nice selection of nibbles to accompany the wines. Lunch was amazing. The venue was superb and of course the food was all delicious, but the staff were the best part for me. They were just incredible! They were so professional and efficient. The attention to detail was superb and the friendliness and atmosphere they created made the lunch...

There was a problem with purchasing tickets; we paid for our tickets in advance for 11:00 AM, and then received an email stating we needed to confirm our chosen time one day before the visit. During confirmation, the website demanded to pay again. The winery (bodega) wasn't answering the phone. On the day of the visit, in the morning, they informed us that 11:00 AM wouldn't work and rescheduled us for 5:00 PM, which changed all our plans. I also want to say that this is the first winery where such a small amount of wine was offered for tasting. You should understand that your visitors are not sommeliers, but tourists who, after a walk, want to SIT down and drink wine, relax, and enjoy it. It is nice bodega, but it was first bodega where we were not offered chairs. This was very inconvenient...

Impresionante, Indescriptible y Maravilloso ha sido el trato y atención y gestión de parte de Anabel, la coordinación, organización y atención de Carlos y su equipo el día de la boda, y la maravillosa comida de Fita y su equipo. Iván y Mónica, nosotros, hemos realizado nuestra boda en Gran Bazán, el 3 septiembre 2023 y la verdad es que no habríamos escogido mejor sitio para un día tan especial. Nos hemos sentido como si los conocieramos de toda la vida, gracias a su sencillez y familiaridad sin olvidar su profesionalidad en todo momento. Anabel nos ha ayudado en todo lo necesario con proveedores, se ha ofrecido a ayudarnos en todo lo posible, su atención exquisita, en todo detalle. Desde luego recomiendo el sitio 100% . Gran Bazán nos aportó tranquilidad, seriedad, profesionalidad en todo momento, lo que todo novio busca en el momento de casarse, para ese día tan especial. Sin duda, Pedro Martínez, el dueño de las bodegas, tiene que estar muy orgulloso de la gente que tiene porque todos, absolutamente todos, son excelentes trabajadores, personas que velan por el negocio y que saben trabajar sin perder su lado humano de ayuda sin ningún tipo de interés propio. Solo puedo decir que estoy súper agradecida, mi boda fue un éxito para nosotros y para los invitados y todo esto gracias a Anabel, Carlos, Fita y sus respectivos equipos. La comida casera... Impresionante... Esa empanada de berberechos hecha por Fita, cantidades abundantes y para repetir.... Y en la mesa no faltaba ni un momento vino ni refrescos porque ya estaban pendientes de ponertelo... Sin duda muchas gracias por hacer este día tan especial para nosostros y para nuestros invitados. Algo que merece ser mencionado también es que el fotógrafo que llevábamos nos ha dicho que como profesional nunca lo habían tratado tan bien en un sitio como gran Bazán, cuando han tenido que ir a comer, han estado pendientes de ellos constantemente también y estaban súper agradecidos, de hecho ha dicho: "Si en la mayoría de los restaurantes de bodas que hemos ido nos hubieran tratado así de bien como gran Bazán firmaríamos todos los días para hacer bodas con ellas" sin duda todo un acierto, Eternamente agradecidos......
