Amazingly good cochnillo!!! I saw this place on a YouTube channel and had to try it for myself. On the day I arrived in Spain from the United States, I drove there. (Reservations are recommended.) I was given the perfect table where I enjoyed all the dishes. Started with the mushrooms with jamon and the preparation and flavor was outstanding. Then came the cochnillo which was proudly displayed by the owner and is a marvel to see PROPERLY prepared. Flavor was the best I’ve had and I’ve had this many times in Segovia and nearby places. Un restaurante altamente recomendable. Comimos el menú del día y tengo que decir que estaba todo estupendo. Había 4-5 primeros y otros tantos segundos con postres caseros ,pan,agua,vino y casera. El menú cuesta 11€ más 1€ del café. Un precio muy bueno y una calidad fantástica Pedí de primero una ensalada templada de bacon y salsa que llegó con la lechuga súper fresca y el bacon templadito, perfecta De segundo secreto con salsa de champiñones y patatas de verdad,no congeladas . por casualidad hace tiempo vi que tenían comida SIN GLUTEN APTO PARA CELIACOS y este sábado he vuelto a repetir. Trato extraordinario. Mi mujer y mi hija con celiacas y comieron estupendamente, todos los platos eran APTOS ya que conocen la dieta perfectamente. (Alubiones, lentejas, cocido, Pasta boloñesa, ......Carnes a la brasa, filetes empanados, carnes guisadas, ..... Pan, ....) Algo sorprendente que no suele ocurrir es que tenia muchísima variedad de postres sin gluten (Tarta chocolate con base de galletas oreo, tarta queso curado y nueces, helado, arroz con leche, natillas, ....)
