Burger King — Restaurant in Vilobí d'Onyar

Quite an unpleasant experience – my order was completely ignored.

My order ticket was left on the counter without any attention, even though I placed the order immediately after exiting Duty Free. The ticket was printed and simply left on the table. Meanwhile, staff prepared and handed out numerous other orders – all placed after mine.

After about 5–7 minutes, someone finally noticed my ticket just lying there and moved it slightly closer to the edge of the table… then continued to prepare and serve other, newer orders while mine was still untouched.

This happened again: they saw my ticket sitting alone, but instead of preparing it, they prioritized several other orders. Only when mine was the only ticket left on the counter did someone finally check whether the burger for it was being made.

In total, it took 24 minutes from payment to receiving my food. During that time, 15 to 25 orders placed after mine were prepared and served.

The whole process seemed completely random and disorganized.

Type 1 diabetic here who was sadly stuck longer than expected in girona airport due to delays - went for a BK (which while I know not great but not much options in this airport) ordered a meal with Coke Zero - i took our bags to a seat whilst my wife waiting for the order. On pouring of the drinks my wife spotting the staff member pressing coke regular and told her to stop that we ordered Coke Zero. To then be told - they had no zero drinks only regular. So this staff member despite seeing Coke Zero on the docket didn’t think to ask my wife if it was ok or not to give a regular drink! Which in this case clearly was not. Now lucky my wife spotted but how many other people have these clueless staff members potentially put in harms way serving up a cup of...

The people who work here don't give a damn about you. They are whistling, loitering around and every single one of them works really slowly, despite the huge number of orders. They forgot to make my order as well. I waited for 20 minutes before I asked them what's up, then one worker took my ticket, went to the back, then told me to wait, without a single apology or concern. They just wanted to get it over with. Also they put back every burger that was left out and nobody took it, even though it was sitting there for half an hour. The service was poor, the food was mediocre, the place was dirty and unkempt. Also, almost nobody knew english well, despite working at an airport.
