We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express and as the Hotel is in what seems to be a recently new industrial estate the only option here for local walkable eats was the restaurant/cafe Aldaia, unless you can be bothered driving into town but it took us 10 hours to get here so we were in no hurry to drive any more. The bar is large and very nice however they must have had a busy lunch period because there was lots of bits of rubbish on the floor at our feet, we were on bar stools at the bar, while we were there it was starting to get busy and there was only one woman working in the bar , she spent most of her time on the phone but was quite efficient at serving while on the phone. We ate here and I enjoyed the food, the food I ordered from the English menu was not what I expected, I ordered a number 75 which you will see from the photos is described as similar to Black Pudding , what came was nothing like black pudding it was more like a minute steak, I did enjoy the meal, I think the incorrect description was probably just a translation mistake as they have the menus in English as well as French which was a nice touch, all in all it was a reasonable meal, the bread basket they gave us looked nice but the bread was as hard as a brick, so we refused to pay for it. I gave this place a 3 star as it was a satisfactory establishment nothing special and in the middle of an industrial area. As we missed breakfast in the Holiday Inn Express the next day we came here for breakfast there were 2 servers this time and breakfast was really nice, coffee was good.

STAY AWAY! We ate at the Cafe downstairs, this has to be the WORST food I have ever been served in my life. Ordered a chicken burger and patatas bravas, the "chicken" (if you can even call it that) was this undercooked PINK processed mess, the bravas had this horrendous fake tomato sauce over them. Would highly recommend staying away

Let's start with the fact that the food was junk. Each time we were served reheated dishes that had been prepared previously. The prices in the restaurant are not the best, each time we had to wait for more than 30 minutes to place an order. The place has the impression of having its own arteries and focusing only on local people, forgetting about tourists. After a few visits, we had the impression that we were ignored and left to our fate. The way the shift manager commented on our attempts to talk to the restaurant staff was not unacceptable. Overall...
