I went with friends and the restaurant was fully booked. They very kindly found us a table and the lovely waitress helped us with recommendations. It was one of the best meals I have had in Spain, and I live here. Three of us shared two starters: the morcilla with avacadobwas superb and the fried cheese amazing. Next we had secured to with coñac and honey followed by pork in red wine. Everything was incredible. Fantastic desserts, again 2 between three the brownie and the cheesecake mousse just tasted brilliant. Washed down with a fabulous bottle of local wine. All of this for 24€ a head. Group of 12 for lunch on a day when La Zaranda is normally closed! The owner offered to open for us, but little did he know that on the day,when he arrived one of his refrigerators had failed! He rang me full of apologies, and I thought we will have to look for somewhere else for lunch. Not a bit of it! Went for lunch on Sunday they are busy so book in advance we saw lots of people turned away. The food and service was excellent do not miss this authentic tapas bar experience!
