Mandio Taberna — Restaurant in Zerain

The place is located in a marvellous village. I guess we were the unlucky ones. I called the day before to book a table for 13:00, we arrive 4 min before the hour, one person tells us to wait an s due that they are very busy not to order anything on the bar. So we wait till 13:30 as the person said. At 13:3x we ask if we can take seat and again she said that they are not ready. As we explained the situation, the previous booking with the hour confirmed and that we have another appointment with some time to travel, we ask if they are going to serve, no clear answer. Then we say that we have to go, the person says that it is very bad behaviour from us. Good luck the ones that book there. I hope this is a unique case on that place but I would...

Buscábamos un lugar donde beber y comer algo y encontramos esta magnífica taberna con el monumento a Goya en su terraza. Tomamos un plato combinado con ensalada, huevos fritos, croquetas y albóndigas con tomate, todo casero y riquísimo (y a un precio muy razonable). No podía faltar la sagardo naturala y un buen café irlandés para rematar. También tienen postres caseros, que seguro que están igual de buenos, pero ya no nos cabía nada más. Unos chupitos para ayudar a la digestión y a retomar el camino hacia Donosti. En fin, un lugar para tener muy en cuenta en el hermoso Goierri...

Increíble, la comida es muy simple, no hay mucha variedad pero está todo riquísimo y en un entorno digno de ser visitado. El trato, excepcional, coqueto, rústico... de esos sitios de comida casera Un verdadero descubrimiento....
