La Vida Bar and Restaurant — Restaurant in Zurgena

4 of us ate at this restaurant last Thursday. I can confidently say this was the worst meal I have ever had served to me. 2 of us had chips which were burnt and inedible. One other had potatoes which were reheated. We had 2 fillet steaks which were completely different in size. One other meal was gammon steak which had been cooked on the same griddle as the fillet steaks as it tasted of beef. This came with an egg, which was burnt to a frazzle. I am amazed that food of this quality was served. It was disgusting and clearly cooked by someone who doesn't care. We raised it with the waitress but got little or no feedback. This is definitely one to avoid. We will not be going back and I hope you will also now avoid it too. We spent €100 on this rubbish food....

Service was a bit slow last time we went. Food is good views are excellent. Went yesterday different waitresses food service much better. I gave a little notice if I could have a larger steak and they catered for this. I have not had a bad steak here. My wife doesn't eat a lot and never clears her plate as the portion sizes are on the large scale. UPDATE We went yesterday steak was cooked perfectly (blue) even did me a jacket.potato ( not on the menu), apple crumble home made and piping hot. Can't reccomend this...

Nice atmosphere, lovely food. The steak was cooked to perfection & the blue cheese sauce was lovely. The kids chicken nuggets pretty much taste like the ones from McDonalds, but my daughter didnt mind them, as kids probably wont! Staff are very friendly. I'd suggested booking a table as it gets very busy. The only thing is it can take a while for your table to be cleared between courses & the puddings were not many,...
