Octopus restaurant is my favourite fish restaurant Sri Lanka. Everyday they have a selection of freshly caught fish. You can even request the restaurant to find any specific fish you like. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The chef is great, and makes delicious food. After a few days of fish I wanted something else and he made me cordon bleu (I brought cheese from Holland) the chicken was perfectly cooked and very delicious. They also have great cocktails. And happy hour from 6 untill 8. My personal favourite is the magic mango.

Stopped by here with my group of friends whilst in Trincomalee. We had a group of 14 dining in which attracted more customers to dine in. I don't think the staff were prepared for a massive rush like this all in one go as service was a bit slow. But bless the staff, as they went out of their way to ensure each table had a fan so everyone stayed cool. I had the fresh calamari with saffron rice which was delicious.

Aroj Marley welcomed us to one of the most amazing restaurants that I have seen in Sri Lanka, service was awesome, we ate red marad (one of the recommendation that Aroj made), and they have chill music creating a really nice atmosphere!! Definitely will comeback!!
