We recently ordered takeaway from GalleStar Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! Their Mix Shovel Rice is a must-try—it’s generously portioned, easily serving five people. Made with fragrant basmati rice, it's packed with flavorful prawns, sausages, and omelette, making every bite delicious. The accompanying chili paste adds the perfect spicy kick.

We also ordered their Dhal Fry for Dinner, which was rich and well-seasoned. One portion was more than enough for 2-3 people to enjoy with bread.

Good place to have a bite outside the busy Galle city limits. We ordered cheese pasta and mutton Kottu, The cheese pasta in here was amazing compared to other places around Galle city.

Evening hours are a bit crowded and it's better if you can make a reservation beforehand. Had to go 1.5 km from the gintota junction in the plywood factory road along the Gin Ganga to reach this destination.
