Domino's Pizza Matara — Restaurant in Matara

I recently had the opportunity to visit Domino's Pizza in Matara, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. We were eager to try their newly introduced Three Cheesy Mexican Rice, which was priced at 899 LKR. However, what should have been a delightful meal turned out to be quite disappointing.

Upon receiving our order, we noticed that the dish was not fresh and had a distinct smell that suggested it might have spoiled. This was disheartening, especially after building up our anticipation for a tasty meal. The combination of rice and cheese simply did not work well; it lacked the flavors and textures that we hoped for. The toppings of tomato, onion, and capsicum felt mismatched and did little to enhance the overall dish. In my opinion, it would have been better accompanied by a gravy or sauce to provide the necessary moisture and flavor.

In the end, we decided to stick with the classic pizzas that Domino's is known for, steering clear of their experimental offerings. It was a safe choice, and it reminded us of the quality that we initially expected.

Additionally, I must mention the cleanliness of the restaurant, which left a lot to be desired. The overall lack of upkeep contributed to a less-than-pleasant dining environment.

Dominos is great. Pizzas, sides and desserts are really delicious and price is very reasonable. My favorites are Chicken Nai miris pizza, Pepperoni piza, and Teriyaki stuffed garlic bread. Pizzas and TSGB has plenty of cheese which tastes soo good. Even the lava cake is at a better price than PH. Average wait time was 20 mins which is reasonable and the staff was friendly and supportive. Place is not much crowded. Dinging area could be more cozy imo. Also they give much worthy offers.
