We went to this beautiful restaurant after our safari in the morning, for our brunch. Bravo! We ended up having couple of beers, because it isn't just a place for a quick dining. You can spend more time and chill, i hope they'll get the rooms quickly.
Me,my girlfriend and our friends delighted by this wise kind man, Nana. The manager of the restaurant, what a nice guy! he's the most professional, well educated, kindly guy we've ever met in Sri Lanka.Amazingly passionate and artistic with what he delivered to us. His English sounds like he's a British haha hard to believe he's a local!! We plan to come back next year, definitely we'd meet him again!! If you ever go there don't forget to have a word with him, he's a walking library! Has a wide thorough knowledge of almost everything in Sri Lanka!!
The food is so fresh and well cooked, you can try out thier seafood dishes, rice and curry, also thier pizza were our best choices!
We will definitely be back in the next time! So far the best place to eat and drink near the transit home! For sure the best in udawalawe!
Thanks Nana and the team! Wish you the best of luck!

Read moreThe perfect marketing trap 🙃 we came as family and it took them almost an hour to prepare 2 club sandwiches, 1 burger and a pizza. Three persons handled the order and yet fries only started to be put in the oil after the sandwiches were ready. So yes, the fries came way too late and it was super soggy.... The food was of low quality and super high price (2500LKR for club sandwich, 3000 for pizza and burger). Really bad club sandwich (actually could see the guys busy and lovelessly smearing mustard and mayo on our bread) , poor burger and half done pizza dough (no, it wasn't cooked in a wood fire as it was advertised) with tomato paste out of a can (or so it tasted) all over the pizza 🙆🏾♀️ It's a complete rip off. It's one and only like this in our trip around half of Sri Lanka 🙆🏾♀️ the lady who attended us also had no experience, had no clue about the dishes and there is one man who always wanted to help her out when she was around us - rather confusing for us. The only good thing was...
Read moreWe arrived as the first guests of the night, but instantly the whole place was lit up, and the staff was ready to take our order. With two small kids (5 months and 4 years old), dining out is sometimes stressful, but the staff was really helpful in entertaining our youngest, while our 4-year old really enjoyed swinging on the hanging couches, and rued us not bringing his swimtrunks, so he could have taken a ride on the waterslide at the pool in the back, that the owner offered to open up just for him.
The food was excellent, I can personally recommend the Chicken Fajitas. All reasonably priced as well, with drinks we ended up at 8.500 LKR which is more than fair for a family night out.
The staff was very helpful and polite, the manager Nana even offered to carry our youngest around on his shoulder, so we could relax and enjoy our meal!
Excellent place to go both with and without kids, and we will definetely return...
