As, I suspect many people do, we have just spent our first night in SL in the Jetwing Beach, and I would endorse all that reviewers have said about the friendly welcome the staff offer. I wanted, though, to write a particular review of the Black Coral restaurant, where we have just experienced a wonderful, and very reasonably priced, tasting menu - all clearly freshly cooked. Just had a dinner at this restaurant with my wife I can honestly say that it's one of the worst meals we have ever had, 1hr 45 mins for the main course, the food was cold , the tortellini was dry, tough and tasteless, the fish was cold with a beurre blanc that was so sweet you could have it for dessert. I'm sorry but I feel this has to be said with what you charge for these meals in a so called fine...

Just as the last person said, it was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had! Every single dish was faultless, with new and familiar ingredients cooked beautifully.

The waiters know exactly what they are serving, and give you recommendations on how to best enjoy the foods on your dish. They also are incredibly attentive and make you feel really welcome.
