I have been to Dine more outlets several times and sadly this is the worst. I visited 3 times and things were worse, not better. First day the chairs wasn't cleaned properly, and a sweat stench was coming from the seats. It makes me very uncomfortable when eating. The submarine was okay, but the usual submarine taste wasn't there. On 2nd visit I ordered a milk shake, and its more towards coco powdered water than a milk shake. It wasn't thick, and the taste I used to have in Reid avenue outlet wasn't there. I asked a waiter to re check and give but they gave again another of the same one. Without complaining, I came paying the bill. Lastly Today I went there and ordered a beef submarine and the quality of it is the worst. The buns one half was again torn, was difficult to eat in one piece. In my first bite i noticed that it is over salted, and the beef amount is way more than what I usually get. Since after couple of bites the taste were awful so I carefully smelled the meat and the meat wasn't fresh, slight spoiled old smell were coming from the curry beef. Frankly I was starving so ate half of it, and finished the drink and came. Also I went to mens room, the commode covers were loose and looks quite old compared to rest, and the mirror in washroom hasn't been cleaned for weeks. As in good things the starter dish and once I ordered a lassie, both were good. and they give the dish sooner than others.
Pros: Lassie, starter dish Cons: Submarine, Milkshake Club sandwich
TL;DR - Do not go to Wattala. I recommend Reid avenue outlet, quality is way more better and keeps the dinemore name shining there. But there's a delay with food there as its crowded all the time Rajagiriya one is also good, but its a takeaway outlet hence the items...
Read moreOn 24.03.24 my self with my son and wife went to Dinemore wattala at around 9.00 p.m at this time the outlet was not crowded and there were only few other diners around, hence we decided to have our dinner there, which turned out to be one of the worst experiences I have had in my entire life in a restaurant. A waiter named Afsal.took our order and went away and after about 15 minutes he came back and kept only one plate on the table and brought out our order, and at this time my wife requested for another two plates, and for our surprise he replied that they are out of plates and can not provide any more, this made me really upset and I asked him that I need to speak with the manager and for this he replied that there is no manager at the restaurant, then I went to the front desk and complained and within a minute they gave us the plates, however at this time I was really unhappy and and informed them that I'm not going to have my food there. There worst part of it was when I asked the waiter Afsal why he had not provided with the required plates since the other waiter had provided he replied with a rude tone that they did not have plates and the plates provided was brought only after washing the used plates. If this is true I suggest that the restaurant to by enough plates and if needed I could provide the necessary loan for you. Mr. M S M Rishard please make sure that to get ride of waiters in the capacity of Afsal how could ruin your good name and chase out all your customers. Disappointed...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with a recent experience I had with your Wattala outlet. As a regular and loyal customer, I was surprised and frustrated when my delivery order was rejected and I was advised to place it through your Colombo 2 branch instead.
However, when I contacted the Colombo 2 branch, I was informed that my location is too far for delivery. This raises a valid concern: if delivery is not available to my area, why is the service being offered at all?
Furthermore, I was only informed of this after completing my order, which is both inconvenient and unprofessional. I understand that limited rider availability can be a challenge, but this is an internal issue that should not affect customer experience. If riders are unavailable, customers should be notified at the point of call—not after placing the order.
I sincerely hope you will take this feedback seriously and improve the reliability and communication of your...
