Hamnkrogen i Ängelholm — Restaurant in Ängelholms kommun

Sometimes, everything seems to align and come together perfectly. This was the case at the restaurant Hamnkrogen in Skälderviken. Despite getting there a little late in the evening with no reservation, we got the exact table we wanted. The young woman that served us was attentive, pleasant and fun to interact with and the food we ordered was just absolutely superb.

While my wife Charlotte ordered two tasty appetizers, I chose the Cesar’s salad which was generously topped with several strips of tender, luscious grilled chicken, crispy bacon bits, olives and Parmesan cheese. This might have been one of the top 10 best Cesar’s I’ve ever eaten.

Maten var god. Servicen var lite sämre än förväntat.

Beställde förrätt och huvudrätt, och huvudrätt till barnen. Huvudrätt till barnen och förrätten serverades samtidigt och därefter huvudrätten till de vuxna, vilket var positivt.

Därefter fick vi vänta ca en halvtimme på att någon tog tallrikarna och gav oss menyn till efterrätten. Sen tog det ytterligare ca en halvtimme innan vi själva sa till att vi ville beställa efterrätt. Beställningen gjordes och kort därefter kom glassen till barnen som beställt det tillsammans med kaffet. Men resten av efterrätterna väntade på sig. Tog en väldigt lång stund och ett par frågor innan vi fick efterrätterna som sedan var lite av en besvikelse. Jordgubbskompotten var egentligen jordgubbs och hallonsylt som smakade som sylt från ICA, choklad tårtan var mer en chokladsockerkaka och den friterade camemberten var rätt smaklös.
