Wow! What a fantastic hotel and restaurant. We cycled from Strangnas and arrived around 8pm. The hosts graciously made us an off-menu, three course dinner to accommodate our late arrival! The food was fabulous, with local mushrooms featured in a Swedish-Italian fusion pasta dish, as well as local trout with herbs and vegetables. Plus, a panna cotta dessert. The generous and fresh breakfast was included in our stay. The husband and wife who run the place are so warm, kind, and social. The wife is a Swedish sommelier and has an extensive background in kitchens and the resort industry. There is a lake a few minute walk away to have a morning swim. We feel lucky to have stayed here for one night on our cycling journey from Stockholm to Gothenburg! Thanks again!
